WSOPC Harrah's Philadelphia Kicks off with Two Starting Flights

Welcome to our coverage of the World Series of Poker Circuit presented by Southern Comfort 100 Proof! We're on hand for one of the final stops of the year here for the Harrah's Philadelphia Main Event. Chips are currently being racked up and the tables squared for the surge of entrants that are prepping to enter the Harrah's Room. Players are certainly eager for their share of the advertised $300,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Last year this event saw 322 runners hit the felt with their eyes on the shiny gold WSOPC championship ring and the $109,760 first-place prize. At the end of three days it was Christopher Bonn who was able to capture the title and the seat to the National Championship.

Two starting flights will take place today. Each flight will consist of nine 40-minute levels. Players who are eliminated in the first place have the option to re-enter for the second flight.

Play kicks off at 11:00 AM EST. Be sure to stay tuned to PokerNews as we provide you with all of the latest updates from the tournament floor!
