Dabezic Surprises Araya

The hand began with three players limping into the pot and Abraham Araya raised to 900 from the small blind. Damir Dabezic called from under the gun and the rest folded.

The flop came {J-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {6-Clubs}, Araya led out for 1,325 and Dabezic called. The turn came {A-Hearts} and both players checked. The river came {6-Spades}, Araya bet 2,300 and Dabezic moved all in for around 5,400 more.

Araya called and winced when Dabezic tabled {6-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} for trip sixes.

Baldwin Letting the Chips Fly

Eric Baldwin is loosening up on his second bullet.
Eric Baldwin is loosening up on his second bullet.

We found Eric Baldwin in a pot at the turn with the board showing {9-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {8-Spades}. Baldwin bet 550, one opponent called and two others folded.

The river came {K-Clubs}, Baldwin checked and his opponent bet 1,200. Baldwin took a breath and then slung out 25,000 in T5,000 chips - enough to set his opponent all in. After just a few moments his opponent folded and Baldwin drug the pot.

Clinkscales Shoves after Misclick

We arrived at the table just in time to see Rex Clinkscales move all in on the river. The board was {6-Spades} {9-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} and Rex led out with a nominal bet from the nine seat.

His opponent was in the one seat and apparantly didn't realize that Clinkscales had bet and his bet was enough for a legal raise.

Clinkscales then shoved and his opponent verbally announced that Clinkscales won the pot and "I would just like to see his hand." Since the opponent verbally folded Clinkscales waited until the dealer mucked his opponent's hand and then showed him {5-} {4-} for a bluff.

"Dang it," his opponent said. "I knew I made a mistake."
