"Captain" Tom Franklin limped in early position and action passed to Chris Karambinis in the big blind where he checked.

The flop came {7-Spades} {7-Hearts} {10-Hearts}, Karambinis checked and Franklin bet 2,000.

"How much do you have behind?" Karambinis asked.

"About 10,000," Franklin replied.

Karambinis tossed in 10,000 and Franklin called.

Franklin: {J-Spades}{10-Spades}
Karambinis: {K-Hearts} {5-Hearts}

The board completed {J-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} and Franklin doubled up to just over the starting stack.

Liebert Laying Down the Law

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Kathy Liebert has been running her table over the last couple of hands. In the first hand Pete Mavro opened for 2,200 and Liebert raised to 6,000 from the big blind. Mavro called and the flop came {5-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds}.

Liebert bet 5,000 and Mavro called. Both players checked the turn and river - {J-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}. Liebert tabled {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs} and took the pot.

The next hand Kevin Cook open-raised and asked Liebert to raise him from the small blind. She obliged and made it 7,100 to go. Cook called and the flop came {3-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {9-Clubs}.

"Club, club, club," Liebert said. "It'd be good if had one of those."

She then bet out 5,000 and Cook folded.

Liebert is talkative today and seems to be the table captain at the moment.

Slight Delay

The start of the tournament has been pushed back a couple of minutes. Apparently, the highway leading to the Horseshoe was blocked by a train. It seems that most of the players have arrived and action should start shortly.

Day 2 is Moving Day as Players Eye the Final Table

Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit presented by Southern Comfort 100 Proof Horseshoe Southern Indiana Main Event is set to begin with nearly 200 players set to take the felt. Leading them all is Greg Brletich with 116,300.

Lurking behind Brletich is Sean Winter (115,100), Mike Iacovone (112,000) and Stephen Dodd (96,500). Plenty of notables are in action today as Rex Clinkscales, Larry Gurney, Ari Engel, "Captain" Tom Franklin, Chris Karambinis, Dan Heimiller, Eric Baldwin, Josh Rotenberg, Aaron Massey, Robert Scott, Aaron Steury and Kathy Liebert all remain in the field.

Today's action calls for 12 levels or to a final table of nine - whichever should happen first. Judging by the size of the field it's a safer bet that they will be playing the full 12 levels.

Cards are scheduled to be in the air promptly at 1 p.m. EST. Follow all the WSOPC action live on Pokernews.com.
