Diego Aranzadi Eliminated in 5th Place (€32,465)

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Diego Aranzadi - 5th place
Diego Aranzadi - 5th place

Antoine Rahal opened from the button to 270,000 and Diego Aranzadi moved all in for 950,000 in chips from one seat over. Matas Cimbolas folded in the big blind and Rahal quickly called.

Rahal: {A-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}
Aranzadi: {K-Spades} {Q-Diamonds}

On the {5-Clubs} {10-Spades} {3-Clubs} flop, Aranzadi's rail didn't really decide whether or not they preferred a king or queen to come. Both opponents shook hands and the {10-Diamonds} turn as well as {5-Spades} river bricked, sending Aranzadi to the rail in 5th place.

Cimbolas Versus Rahal

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Antoine Rahal opened to 200,000 from the small blind and was called by Matas Cimbolas from one seat over. On the {9-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} flop, Rahal continued for 130,000 and was called before the {5-Hearts} turn and {K-Clubs} river were checked through. Rahal announced a six and then realized he had mistaken his cards, flipping over {Q-Spades} {2-Hearts}. Cimbolas won the pot with {A-Diamonds} {7-Spades} and his opponent apologized, said he "had the six in the mind."

One orbit later, the two of them saw a {K-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {6-Hearts} {3-Spades} river and Rahal bet 100,000. Cimbolas called with {5-Spades} {8-Spades} and won the pot versus the {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} of his opponent.

Rahal Leaves Cimbolas Very Short

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Matas Cimbolas raised from under the gun and Antoine Rahal just flat-called in the big blind. The Frenchman check-called a bet of 180,000 on the {7-Spades} {4-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} and did so again on the {Q-Spades} turn for 460,000. Rahal then over-bet the {J-Diamonds} river for 1.3 million and Cimbolas tank-called for the vast majority of his stack. Rahal flipped over {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts} for a full house and won a massive pot.

The next hand, Ricardo Manquant opened to 400,000 onto the big blind of Cimbolas and called the 480,000-shove with {K-Hearts} {7-Hearts}. Cimbolas doubled up with the {10-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} on a board of {9-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {8-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}.

Matas Cimbolas - 4th place
Matas Cimbolas - 4th place

Matas Cimbolas announced all in as first to act for 1,180,000 and Ricardo Manquant moved all in himself from the button, scaring off both players in the blinds.

Cimbolas had the {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} but failed to improve against the {4-Diamonds} {4-Spades} of the Frenchman with the board running out {2-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}.

Manquant Doubles Through Rahal

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, things escalated quickly and Ricardo Manquant was all in and at risk out of the big blind for 2.75 million in chips with the {A-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}. Antoine Rahal looked him up with the inferior {A-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} and the {J-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {4-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} board crowned a new chip leader.

Three on the River

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Ricardo Manquant raised to 210,000 on the button and Antoine Rahal called in the big blind. On a flop of {2-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}, Rahal check-called 210,000 and the {J-Hearts} turn and {3-Clubs} river were checked through. Rahal announced a three and flipped over his {Q-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}, which ended up being the winning hand.

Queen Jack for the Win

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Antoine Rahal raised to 220,000 from the button and Miroslac Alilovic called out of the big blind. The {7-Spades} {9-Spades} {5-Spades} flop and {2-Hearts} turn were checked through. Alilovic then bet the {A-Spades} river for 150,000 and was called to win the pot with {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} versus {A-Clubs} {3-Hearts}.

Rahal called a button-raise by Ricardo Manquant and check-called a bet of 210,000 on the {2-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {10-Hearts} flop. Again the last two community cards were checked through, the {J-Spades} turn and the {3-Clubs} river. Rahal showed {Q-Clubs} {J-Hearts} and won the pot.

Manquant and Rahal Clash in Back-to-Back Hands

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Ricardo Manquant raised to 230,000 from the button and was called by Antoine Rahal in the big blind. On a flop of {J-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}, Rahal check-called a bet of 200,000 and the {K-Clubs} turn was checked through. Rahal then snap-called a bet of 400,000 on the {2-Diamonds} river and showed his inferior {A-Clubs} {3-Spades} once Manquant had revealed {Q-Diamonds} {2-Spades} for trips.

The next hand, Rahal raised to 200,000 and called the three-bet of Manquant to 500,000 in a battle of the blinds. On the {8-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {A-Spades}, Rahal snap-called the 300,000 continuation bet of Manquant within a matter of seconds after checking. He repeated the same move on the {10-Spades} turn for 400,000 and checked again the {7-Clubs} river.

Manquant bet 800,000 and Rahal moved all in for another 2,070,000 on top of that. He was tank-called and Rahal flipped over {4-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} for a gutshot that got there whereas Manquant was gutted with {A-Clubs} {10-Diamonds}.
