Day 1b Started
In half an hour from now on at 2 p.m. local time, the second starting day of the 2015 World Series of Poker International Circuit Main Event gets underway at the Casino de Marrakech. The tournament comes with a price tag of 15,000 Dirhams, which equals €1,350, and all players that were eliminated on yesterday's Day 1a can re-enter the competition.
The man to beat thus far is Frederic Rizzo from France, who emerged as chip leader towards the very end of day and turned his starting stack of 30,000 chips into almost nine times the amount, bagging up impressive 264,000. Jorge Coello Esmoris's 239,800 are good enough for second place followed by Winamax Poker Tour Paris third place finisher El Mostafa Ederoua, who claimed 216,300 chips.
Day 1b features a total of 12 levels of 45 minutes each and there is a 15-minute break every three levels. After the end of level 9 there is a 60-minute dinner break and the late registration closes simultaneously as well. Furthermore, every participant can take advantage of a single re-entry on Day 1b within said time frame as well.
Those expected to be back in action are such familiar names as Abdelhadi Kondah, Anas Tadini, Philippe Ktorza, Brahim Oubella, Frederic Hebette and Matas Cimbolas, all of which busted during Day 1a. Furthermore, Ben Warrington will most likely also take a shot at winning a WSOP Circuit Ring as well.
The PokerNews team will be there to provide all key moments until a winner is crowned on Sunday, check back often and enjoy the show!
No worries, the start of the tournament has not been missed yet. More than 20 tables are prepared already and the players are pouring in fashionably late, which is more or less standard in Morocco. :)

The screens have been updated and now include close to 100 entries, of which most are still unknown for the moment. However, Jean Marie Vandeborne and Ben Warrington are two regular faces from the circuit and they are joined by two Spaniards that came across on recent events in Morocco: Inigo Montoya and Hector Padilla.

After a limped pot to the three-way turn of , Hector Padilla bet 100 and was called by one opponent before a third player in the hand raised to 300 and took down the pot uncontested.
One hand later, Padilla bet the flop for 350 after a three-bet to 300 preflop and claimed the chips without any further action.

Pedro Oliveira busted on Day 1a against Bruno Soutavong and is on the same table as Jean Marie Vandeborne, immediately getting involved in action. It was fire all the way until the turn of a board as there were 5,000 chips in the middle. However, then both players checked down and did so as well for the river.
The opponent of the Portuguese shrugged and showed for a bluff whereas Oliveira won the hand with .
