Small Pots for Nikiel and Zyrin

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

On the three-way flop of {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Rafal Nikiel bet 625 in the small blind and Seyed Zadeh folded while Aviv Meiri called. The {3-Diamonds} fell on the turn and a second bet worth 1,600 by Nikiel did the trick to force a fold.

Over on the other table, Aleksandar Tomovic opened to 400 in the small blind and Anatoliy Zyrin three-bet to 1,100 in the big blind. Tomovic called and checked the {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop before folding to a continuation bet worth 1,500 by Zyrin.

Zyrin limped the next blind and called a raise to 400 by Viliyan Petleshkov before the duo checked through a {Q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop and {J-Spades} turn. After the {8-Spades} river, Zyrin checked once more and Petleshkov avoided the showdown with a bet of 600.

Petleshkov Enters; Hamerov Takes from Tomovic

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov entered the competition with a fresh stack of 50,000 while two smaller hands played out.

Aleksandar Tomovic raised to 275 from the cutoff and Erez Hamerov three-bet to 1,125 from the small blind. Tomovic called and the duo checked the flop of {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. After the {10-Clubs} turn, Hamerov bet 2,000 and that won the pot right there.

Then, Rafal Nikiel faced a limp by Tomovic and raised to 600. Only Seyed Zadeh in the big blind called and the flop fell {5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Zadeh checked and Nikiel claimed the pot with a bet of 1,500.

Tomovic Takes a Seat; Nikiel Off to a Good Start

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Aleksandar Tomovic, a Serbian poker pro with nearly $350,000 in live tournament earnings, has taken his seat to the right of Rafal Nikiel. He sat down just in time to witness Nikiel rake in the first large pot of the day.

Anatoliy Zyrin raised to 400 on the button and was called by Seyed Zadeh in the small blind and Nikiel in the big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Zadeh checked. Nikiel led out for 700 and Zyrin raised to 2,100. Zadeh folded and Nikiel called to see the {q-Clubs} on the turn.

Nikiel checked and Zyrin checked behind as the {7-Diamonds} completed the board. Nikiel fired 3,500 into the middle and Zyrin tossed his cards to the muck sending the pot to Nikiel.

There are two other tournaments running at the King's Casino right now and Phil Hellmuth is featured in one of them. The poker superstar made the trip over to Rozvadov and late registered for Day 2 of the €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Event. As of right now, there are 14 players out of a 78-entry strong field remaining and the top 8 will share a portion of the €137,085 prize pool.

A min cash is worth €5,483, while the winner can look forward to a payday of €41,125. Worth more than the money for Hellmuth is the World Series of Poker Circuit ring, though, and the American has a stack just below the average on the last two tables right now.

The other tournament is the €440 WSOP Circuit ring event with 185 entries, of which 169 currently remain.
