Three Barrels by Blasko

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Marek Blasko
Marek Blasko

Sandro Pitzanti's attempt to win the pot by betting the {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} for 3,100 was not crowned by success, as Dorde Jovanovic called and the Dutchman immediately mucked. Both players sit on comfortable stacks in the middle of the pack though, and Marek Blasko bumped his stack to the same region just now as well.

Blasko fired three barrels on a {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} board, with 3,800 on the turn and 6,000 on the river, and his opponent eventually check-folded to the final bet.

Current big stacks include Jan Jobmann, as well as the brothers Artur and Lukasz Wasek.

Profit Loses Some

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Antoine Profit faced two limpers and raised to 3,500. Both limpers called and the flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The action checked to Profit and he bet 7,000. One of the limpers check-raised all in for 17,700 and Profit was priced in to make the call with {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The player at risk had {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and the board completed with the {3-Diamonds} turn and {3-Clubs} river.

Profit dropped some chips, while Georges Sultanem was missing already, and Jose Ponce is now even in chips with the Frenchman on the same table.

Bednar Takes a Chunk From Meiri

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Aviv Meiri limped in from early position and Jan Bednar raised to 3,500 from the hijack. The action was folded back around to Meiri who made the call. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Meiri check-called a bet of 2,700 from Bednar.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and Meiri checked again. Bednar fired another bet of 9,900 and Meiri continued to call. The river landed the {k-Clubs} and Meiri checked for the third time. Bednar unleashed the clip, moving all-in and putting Meiri at risk should he call. Meiri thought for a couple minutes before electing to lay his hand down.

Tran; Cieslik and Greko Escape from Elimination

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Gregor Greko doubled for 12,200 post flop with {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} versus AdJs] on a board of {Q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} to remain in contention.

Do Tran was down to 12,100 after losing a flip with ace-king versus queens and faced two limpers including Tezer Cetindag. The latter tank-folded and showed {A-Spades}{J-Hearts} while Tran had {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. The button looked him up with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Tran received a sweat on the board {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} before he could sit back down.

Roman Cieslik was all in with kings versus tens versus eights and Sandro Pitzanti flopped a set before running jacks gave Cieslik the better full house.

Fara Sends Greko Home Late in the Day

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Thomas Fara
Thomas Fara

Gregor Greko was in the middle of running up his short stack when he found himself in another tough spot. The pot was already massive with over 35,000 in the middle and the board reading {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Tomas Fara checked from the big blind. Gregor Greko was in the cutoff and moved all-in for his last 19,000.

Fara looked back at his cards and then pushed in a stack of chips to make the call. Greko confidently turned over {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} for top two pair but Fara flopped a set with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. The river was the {k-Diamonds} and Greko was eliminated while Fara soared to the top of the chip counts.

Brimmers Doubles Through Wasek

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

"I only got crap cards the last few hours and now those nines. I had a straight draw on the flop and pushed," Gerhard Brimmers said after having just doubled through Lukasz Wasek. The latter had defended his big blind with {8-}{7-} and flopped two pair on {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

Brimmers got his stack of 38,500 in with {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and immediately got there on the {9-Diamonds} turn to lock up the double and make the {3-Clubs} river a formality.
