Sebastian Malec

Former EPT Barcelona champion Sebastian Malec was just eliminated in a hand against Lambros Vrakes.

A player opened to 1,000 from early position with the blinds 250 and 500. Vrakes then three-bet to 2,600 and Malec called in position.

The flop came {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. The initial raiser checked and Vrakes bet 5,250. Malec called and the third player folded.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Vrakes bet 11,500. Malec counted out the chips to make the call before checking how much he had in the rest of his stack. He then announced all in and Vrakes quickly called.

Malec showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for a set of tens, but Vrakes had turned a set of queens with {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}. The river was the {j-Clubs} and Malec was eliminated.
