Markus Prinz Leads Going Into Day 3 of the WSOP International Circuit Main Event

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Day 2 Chipleader Markus Prinz
Day 2 Chipleader Markus Prinz

At the conclusion of an elongated Day 2 of the WSOP International Circuit Main Event from Rozvadov, it is Markus Prinz who leads the remaining 27 in their pursuit of the title, €183,350 in prize money, a much-coveted WSOP Circuit gold ring and a spot in the Global Casino Championship.

With 236 players returning, in addition to a number of players who bought in at the start of Day 2, it was always going to need a longer than usual day to whittle it down to a manageable size for Day 3.

One of the people who bought in at the start of the day was Czech anti-hero Martin Kabrhel. Fresh from winning the WSOPC 6-Max ring on Saturday night, a feat he achieved alongside firing two bullets in Day 1b, Kabrhel took to his seat like a duck to water. Kabrhel was still in action when the day drew to a close, and will by eyeing a second circuit ring in three days when play resumes tomorrow.

The prizepool was also confirmed today, with 71 of the 651 players making the money, and a min-cash worth €3,610.

As the bubble drew ever nearer, the big names started to tumble with the likes of Pierre Neuville, Sam Grafton, Martin Staszko, Sebastian Malec and Marcin Horecki all falling short.

The unfortunate bubble boy was Karol Radomski whose pocket queens failed to hold against the Ace-King of [Removed:197]. With that the bustouts began in earnest and despite the slightly longer day than usual, there was a steady trickle of eliminations as the night drew to a close.

The remaining 27 players, led by Prinz, will return at 14.00 tomorrow to battle it out for the title. There is no runaway chip leader, with the chip lead being shared by the likes of Ngoc Bui Hai, Waldemar Kopyl, Lukasz Wasek and Marian Flesar.

Full chip counts are posted below.

Stay tuned to PokerNews tomorrow for all the live updates as we bring you the conclusion of the WSOP International Circuit Main Event from King's Casino in Rozvadov

The Czech Poker Brat Martin Kabrhel Doubles Up

Level 15 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

The more you listen to Martin Kabrhel while he's at the table, the more he sounds like a younger, Czech version of Phil Hellmuth.

"That is the worst play in poker history," said Kabrhel, "Can you believe this guy? The worst play."

The play in question was Kabrhel moving all in with {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} from the small blind for 25,800. The big blind, who was the victim of Cabrhel's berating was Michal Jurcenko and he had called holding {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

"Queen-ten?!" said Kabrhel loudly, standing up in mock disbelief.

The flop came {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades} giving Jurcenko a straight draw. The turn was the {3-Spades} giving Jurcenko a flush to go with it.

"You have everything!" exclaimed Kabrhel gleefully. The river was the {6-Clubs} and the dealer counted out Kabrhel's double.

The river was the {6-Clubs} and it checked to Grafton who moved all in for 41,500. The third player folded and Tsirakidis called.

Grafton showed {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for trip sixes and although Tsirakidis tried to muck his hand, the dealer forced him to turn it over revealing {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

Flesar Starts Where He Left Off

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Marian Flesar
Marian Flesar

Chip leader Marian Flesar was straight into action against Marek Fritz betting 12,200 on a flop of {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Fritz called and they proceeded to check the turn {3-Diamonds} and river {3-Hearts}. Fritz showed his {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the missed flush draw and Flesar took the pot with his {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

His table then broke and with the assistance of a tournament staff, he carried his three stacks' worth of chips to his new table and was seated in the big blind. His new tablemates all stared in astonishment at Flesar's chipstack as the cards were dealt.

Jeremy Williams opened from the big blind to 3,300. The small blind called and Flesar three-bet to 9,600 out of the big blind. Williams called and the small blind folded.

The flop came {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Flesar continued for 14,700. Williams folded and Flesar added to his enormous chip stack.
