Day 2 of the €1,650 entry €1,000,000 guarantee WSOPC Main Event at the King’s Casino Rozvadov gets underway at 2pm today as the tournament gets down to the business end.
There are 235 players left in the hunt from 615 entries across the two staring days, though registration is still open until the start of play.
Marian Flesar from Slovakia is the current chip leader with 271,700 having topped the Day 1b field. Sebastian Malec from Poland, the EPT Barcelona 2016 Champion, lies second with 250,200 and Lambros Vrakas from Germany is third with 249,500 having led Day 1a.
Other notables in the field include Josef Snejberg (228,000), Thomas Traboulsi (148,700), Matthias De Meulder (93,500), Dimitri Urbanovitch (64,400), Martin Staszko (61,500) and Pierre Neuville (47,900).
Shortly after the close of registration the prizepool and pay-outs will be confirmed with details of first place prize money as well as the number of places getting paid for that nail biting bubble spot.
The tournament is scheduled to play 10 levels today and will switch to hour long levels and, with a dinner break, play will come to an end just past midnight. The survivors will then bag up their chips and return for the final day on Sunday.
The PokerNews Live Reporting team will be on hand throughout to keep you up to date with all the action, big hands and bust outs from the largest card room in Europe as the players seek to place a cherished gold WSOP Circuit ring on their finger and claim a huge pay day.

Some big names are still in the Main Event on Day 2. Martin Kabrhel, who last night we saw two-tabling the Main Event alongside the 6-Max is back in the hunt today after winning the 6-Max event last night.
Joining him at the tables are November Niners Martin Staszko, Pierre Neuville and Vojtech Ruzicka and former EPT champions Dzmitry Urbanovich and Sebastian Malec.
Chip leader Marian Flesar was straight into action against Marek Fritz betting 12,200 on a flop of .
Fritz called and they proceeded to check the turn and river . Fritz showed his for the missed flush draw and Flesar took the pot with his .
His table then broke and with the assistance of a tournament staff, he carried his three stacks' worth of chips to his new table and was seated in the big blind. His new tablemates all stared in astonishment at Flesar's chipstack as the cards were dealt.
Jeremy Williams opened from the big blind to 3,300. The small blind called and Flesar three-bet to 9,600 out of the big blind. Williams called and the small blind folded.
The flop came and Flesar continued for 14,700. Williams folded and Flesar added to his enormous chip stack.

Matthias De Meulder had reached the river of a board reading and bet 27,500 which was right around half pot.
De Meulder sat stock still for several minutes as his opponent stared him down for several minutes, counting down his stack and looking for a reaction. He didn’t get a peep form De Meulder and eventually mucked his hand in frustration.

Martin Kabrhel, fresh from winning the 6-Max tournament yesterday, bought back into the Main Event before the start of play having fired two bullets yesterday and is looking to spin up his 30,000 starting stack.
On a flop of Kabrhel bet 4,500 into three opponents and got two folds and one call from Michal Jurcenko.
The turn was the and Kabrhel gave Jurcenko his customary long stare before betting 13,500. Jurcenko flicked out the calling chips.
The river was the and another long stare before Kabrhel checked. Jurcenko checked behind and Kanrhel turned over his winning while Jurcenko mucked.

In a slight change to the advertised schedule they will now play 11 one-hour levels today, not 10.
On a quick swoop of the tournament floor we checked in on Day 1a chipleader Lambros Vrakas.
"Excuse me Sir," asked the player seated to Vrakas' direct right, "Could you call the police? This man is stealing all of our blinds," he said pointing towards Vrakas.
The Greek player now sits on well over 300,000 chips and is probably the chip leader in the room right now, although he will be closely followed by Marian Flesar and Ngoc Bui Hai
