Eriquezzo Opens Up a Gap

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Eric Salazar raised it up to 180,000 on the button and Ryan Eriquezzo called from the big blind. The flop fell {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {3-Hearts} on the turn.

Eriquezzo led out for 190,000 and Salazar stuck around to see the {q-Spades} on the river. Eriquezzo reached back for a large bet of 665,000 and Salazar went into the tank again. After playing with his calling chips for a couple of minutes, Salazar dropped in a call.

Eriquezzo tabled {8-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for an eight-high straight and Salazar was forced to send his cards to the muck. With that pot, Eriquezzo has opened up the largest lead of this heads-up battle thus far.
