Exit Berende

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Paul Berende
Paul Berende

Paul Berende lost his last 28,000 after a pretty sick runout and lots of cheering and shouting at his table. He moved all in and Cees-Jan Vermeulen called the all-in bet by Berende.

Paul Berende: {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs}
Cees-Jan Vermeulen: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The flop was {4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Spades} and Berende took the lead in the hand after a loud cheer by the entire table. The turn was the {10-Hearts} and the players made even more noise when the {10-Spades} came down to give Vermeulen quads to take down the pot.

Metaal Folds to Marti

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Francisco Marti was getting shorter and decided to make a move. He raised from middle position to 3,800 and action was on small blind Govert Metaal. Metaal took his time and decided to opt for the three-bet to 11,200. Marti's answer was to move all in and Metaal, the high roller from The Hague, Netherlands, folded his hand to award Marti with the pot.

Heinze Doubles Up

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Olvedo Heinze
Olvedo Heinze

Marcel Goldenbelt raised from the button to 3,200 and small blind Olvedo Heinze called from the small blind. Big blind Ahmed Ibrahimi three-bet to 8,200. Goldenbelt four-bet to 13,200 and Heinze five-bet all in for about 65,000. Ibrahimi jammed all in as well and Goldenbelt folded.

Olvedo Heinze was at risk of elimination with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and he had to win against Ibrahimi's {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. The board ran out {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Heinze got lucky to hit a set on the flop and get a full double up plus some more.

Jagga and Van Hooren Chop Peetoom's Money

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Mohamed Jagga moved all in from early position for 31,900 and Roger Peetoom called from the hijack. It folded to small blind Jacco van Hooren who moved all in for about 125,000 and Peetoom had a big decision to make. He decided to open-fold {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and saw that he would be ahead against the {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} of Jagga and {A-Spades}{K-Spades} of Van Hooren.

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Peetoom misses out on a big 300,000 if he would've called the all in from Van Hooren. Van Hooren and Jagga chop the 31,900 that Peetoom put in the middle.

Jansma Can't Win Against Aces

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Jan Jansma
Jan Jansma

The board was already reading {4-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and the pot had about 15,000 in when Farid Chati bet 7,700 from early position. Jan Jansma raised from the button to 16,000 and Chati called.

The {K-Clubs} river completed the board and both players checked. Chati showed {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and he asked Jansma why he didn't bet again on the river while he raked in the pot.

"If you call once, you call twice", said Jansma to Chati.
