Alex van der Werf was all in for his last 62,400 and at risk and said "I'm not going to lose with kings again!". Van der Werf had to hold against his opponent his while holding himself.
The board ran out and Van der Werf locked up a big double up.
There was a raise and a three-bet which resulted in Farid Chati and German Day 1b chip leader Sebastian Dornbracht being all in. Dornbracht was holding ace-queen and Chati was ahead with a pair of queens.
The board brought no help for Dornbracht who is eliminated from the tournament.
There are only two more 60-minute levels left in the day and there are 42 players left as of right now. The chance for the tournament to reach the money is very slim as only 21 players will make the money.
The players at table 19 just jumped up from their seats as they saw the cards being dealt after a preflop all in. Jer el Salsero was at risk with a pair of tens in his hand and he had to win against the pocket aces of Marcel Schouten. The flop that came was one out of a Hollywood movie as the dealer spread .
Valentin Vornicu was eliminated from the tournament right before the last break of Day 2. The WSOP Circuit ring record holder with 12 gold WSOP circuit rings jumped in the Monster Stack tournament running alongside the Main Event. The Monster Stack event has a buy-in of €550.
Vornicu will not pick up his 13th ring in the Rotterdam Main Event, but he might still walk away from Holland Casino Rotterdam with another ring in his back pocket if he manages to take a side event down.
