Grospellier Doubles Through Nowak

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante
Bertrand Grospellier
Bertrand Grospellier

Renato Nowak raised from under the gun and Martin Kabrhel called in the small blind. Bertrand Grospellier was in the big blind and moved all in for around 35,000. Nowak re-raised all in over the top and Kabrhel eventually, after some thought, folded.

Bertrand Grospellier: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Renato Nowak: {q-}{q-}

Kabrhel said he folded jacks, but wasn't in line to win as the board ran out {3-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Grospellier doubled up.

Chmiel Sent to the Rail by Tikerpe

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

On a {2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades} board Tomasz Chmiel moved all in for around 45,000 and was called by Matthias Tikerpe.

Tomasz Chmiel: {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Matthias Tikerpe: {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

It was the trips for Tikerpe up against the flush and straight draws from Chmiel. The river was the {a-Clubs} and Chmiel was sent to the rail.

Cohen Eliminates Walter

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

It was all in pre-flop between Viktor Walter and Oded Cohen with Walter holding {k-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Cohen with {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs} and the {4-Diamonds} on the turn meant that Walter would need to hit on the river. He didn't and he was eliminated.

Cemo On a Tear; Neuville Eliminated

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

In quick succession, Cemo has pressed on after the elimination of Vojtech Ruzicka. He first sent Leon Tsoukernik to the rail, who came back from the break with just ten big blinds. He then eliminated Michal Mrakes with {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs} against Mrakes's {a-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

The board came {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Cemo added yet more chips to his stack.

Meanwhile, Pierre Neuville was walking despondently away from the tournament area. He explained that Philipp Zukernik had open-shoved for around 30 big blinds, and was called by Neuville holding pocket aces. Zukernik had sixes, but hit a six on the river to eliminate the Belgian.

First vs Third in Chips Clash; Ruzicka Eliminated

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Cemo bet a {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Spades} flop and Vojtech Ruzicka called. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Cemo checked to Ruzicka who bet 18,000. Cemo check-raised to 90,000 and Ruzicka moved all in for 154,500. Cemo asked for a count and eventually put the rest in.

Cemo: {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
Ruzicka: {4-Spades}{2-Spades}

As can sometimes be the case, Cemo was bluffing with the best hand and had to dodge a club, four, three or two on the river. The river was the {a-Diamonds} and Cemo sent Ruzicka to the rail.
