Il Dieko Bets Huge and Wins

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

The board read {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Rati Il Dieko had bet 20,000 from the small blind in a pot of about 9,300. Michiel Brosky was up for a decision and tanked.

"OK, I'll fold my flush..." he said with defeat in his voice.

Il Dieko showed {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} for a pair of queens and quickly started stacking up the chips the dealer pushed his way.

Gumz Grabs a Big Pot

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

The pot contained about 4,500 in it and the board read {Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. Fabian Gumz had bet 4,100 from the small blind and Hanna Khalife was trying to decide what to do. After a minute or so, he decided to call.

The {9-Diamonds} on the river completed the board, Gumz looked at his chips and the board again. Then he bet 10,000. Khalife quickly grabbed calling chips and put them over the line. Gumz showed {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for a full house, fours over nines. That seemed to be more than good enough for Khalife as he mucked his hand and looked pretty disappointed.

Small Pots Everywhere

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

The French contingent has taken over the room and taken their seats at the tables. There isn't much action yet as it's only the first level but a few small hands have been played already.Jean=Sebastien

- The player in the small blind completed and Ahmed Boukaddeda opted to check the big blind. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, the small blind check-folded to the 150 bet of Boukaddeda.

- Jean-Sebastien Benoit raised to 250 from the under-the-gun position and was called by Barny Boatman, on the button, and the players in the blinds. The flop came {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, the small blind checked, the big blind bet 200, and both Benoit and Boatman called. The turn brought them the {j-Hearts}, the big blind now checked, as did Benoit. Boatman bet 900 and the two others folded.

- In a pot of 600 and the {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} on the flop, both the small blind and Fabian Gumz, in the cutoff, checked. The turn came with the {4-Diamonds}, the small blind check-folded to the 250 bet of Gumz.

First Names in the Field

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Some of the players that didn't make it through to Day 2 yesterday have taken their seats again here today in the first level. Barny Boatman was one of them and just played a hand against Gil Thierry from Belgium who took down the Bounty Tournament two days ago for 22,400 MAD (€1,982) plus bounties.

Gil Thierry raised to 250 from the cutoff and was called by Barny Boatman, on the button, and the player in the small blind.

They all checked through the {10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} on the flop to the {6-Diamonds} on the turn. The small blind bet 200, Thierry folded and Boatman raised to 700. The small blind folded immediately.

"Show the bluff" another player at the table said. Boatman showed the {3-Spades} and they all laughed.

"I had pocket threes with a flush draw." Boatman claimed.
