Stefanski's River Boat Blasts Hole in Lauer's Stack

Four players were on the turn of a board that read {9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Dave Stefanski bet 14,000, Andrew Lauer called and the other two players in the hand got out of the way.

The river was the {7-Clubs} to pair the board. Stefanski put together some chips and put out a bet of 51,500. Lauer called after a about fifteen seconds.

Stefanski tabled the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for the full boat. "Good river" said Lauer as he mucked his hand to tilt the table's chips in favor of Stefanski.

The river was the {4-Clubs}. Stefanski checked. Gulati thought for quite a while, contemplating his options before checking it back.

Stefanski turned over the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, while Gulati turned up the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to show his missed draws in frustration as some of his chips went over to Stefanski.

Efron Holds For Double

On a flop of {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, Scott Efron bet 17,500. Tarun Gulati raised him all in to apply maximum pressure.

Efron put his sunglasses on his head and though it over before calling after about ten seconds.

Efron had the {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} while Gulati had the flush draw with the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. But the flush would not come in as the {6-Clubs} on the turn and the {q-Spades} on the river held the pot for Efron.
