Vrabel Catches Wantman with His Hand in the Cookie Jar

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Matthew Wantman opened to 16,000 from early position and two players called, including Luke Vrabel in the big blind. The dealer spread out {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} on the flop, action checked to Wantman who continued for 17,000.

Vrabel was the only player to stick around as he check-called, and the {8-Spades} peeled off on the turn. Vrabel checked again and again Wantman fired in a bet, this time for 50,000. Vrabel called and the {4-Spades} landed on the river.

Action checked again to Wantman who moved all in and Vrabel pushed snap-called for his remaining 170,000. Wantman instantly threw his cards into the muck, sending the pot to Vrabel who elected to table his monstrous {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}, showing his quad snowmen.
