Ashley Haller Wins WSOP Circuit Foxwoods Ladies Event
While PokerNews is only live reporting the High Roller and Main Event tournaments at the World Series of Poker Circuit Foxwoods stop, there have been plenty of other side events playing out all week long.
One of them was the $250 Ladies Event, a tournament that drew 117 runners and created a $23,400 prize pool. The top 18 got paid and among those to cash but fall short of making the final table were Karen Brown (10th - $44), Linda Rodrigues (11th - $449), Eunice Stritsman (12th - $449), Kathy Cooke (13th - $383), Corie Skidgell (14th - $383), Priscilla Amaral (15th - $383), Cheryl Sloane (16th - $336), Lisa Perenzin (17th - $336), and Jessie Wheatley (18th - $336).
In the end, Ashley Haller defeated Audrey Park in heads-up play to win the title for $6,466 and a gold ring.
