Wilcox Catches Broadway on the River to Snatch a Pot from Sande

Leonard Sande opened to 25,000 from under the gun and two players called, including Gordon Wilcox who defended his big blind. The dealer spread out on the flop, action checked to Sande who bet 32,000 and only Wilcox called.

The peeled off on the turn and both players checked to the river card. Wilcox checked to Sande, he bet 68,000 and Wilcox snap-called.

Sande tabled for two pair but it was not good as Wilcox turned over for a rivered straight. The defending champ now seats close to the top of the leader board.

Milowicki Drops Zola Down, Barron Finishes Him Off

The flop came down and Zola had a commanding lead. A changed nothing as Milowicky needed some help. The river was an unfortunate card for Zola when the landed on the felt, giving Milowicki three tens and the pot.
