Ware Doubles With Rockets

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Michael Hahn raised to 25,000 from early position, and Kenneth Ware three-bet to 70,000 in the big blind. Hahn four-bet jammed, and Ware snapped off his last 348,000.

Kenneth Ware: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Michael Hahn: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Hahn's Big Slick was dead by the turn of a {3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} board, and Ware shipped the big double with his aces.

Schikler Doubles Through Pupillo

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Nick Pupillo raised to 30,000 from under the gun, then called a three-bet shove from Seth Schikler in the big blind for 139,000.

Seth Schikler: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Nick Pupillo: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Pupillo flopped a Broadway draw with the {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop, but improved no further on the {2-Clubs} turn and {8-Hearts} river to secure the double for Schikler.

Gallaher Doubles Through Foley

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Devin Limburg raised from middle position to 27,000, Michael Foley called next to act and the action folded around to John Gallaher who shoved his entire stack of 171,000 in the middle. After some pondering, Limburg mucked his hand and Foley quickly called.

Michael Foley: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
John Gallaher: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Gallaher had Foley dominated and nothing changed on the {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades} run out, giving him a full double up.

Merton Toler
Merton Toler

After a raise to 40,000 from Nick Pupillo from under the gun and a call from David Cali in the hijack, Merton Toler three-bet shoved for 284,000 on the button. Pupillo called and Cali folded.

Merton Toler: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Nick Pupillo: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Toler hit top pair on the {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop to take the lead, and held on the {7-Diamonds} turn. The {k-Clubs} river gave Pupillo Broadway, however, and Toler made his exit.

Foley Cracks Kings to Triple Up

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Michael Foley jammed for 87,000 from the hijack, and Kenneth Ware three-bet to 200,000 on the button. John Gallaher four-bet shoved for 405,000 in the big blind, and Ware folded.

Michael Foley: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
John Gallaher: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Foley picked up a few outs on the {8-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop, and a bunch more on the {5-Clubs} turn. Foley needed a nine, jack or club to survive, and he found salvation on the {10-Clubs} river to triple up, while Gallaher made a small profit from the side pot.

Devin Limburg Eliminated in 16th Place ($5,566)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Devin Limburg
Devin Limburg

Thomas Alcorn raised to 40,000 from the button, then called a three-bet shove for 239,000 from Devin Limburg in the small blind.

Devin Limburg: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Thomas Alcorn: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Limburg stood up before the flop, and his intuition was spot on, as the {2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop left Limburg's Big Slick drawing dead before the {q-Diamonds} turn and {4-Spades} river could fall.

The Tortoise and the Tank

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Alan Percal raised to 35,000 from the hijack, and John Gallaher called in the small blind.

Action checked down to the river of a {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Spades} board, where Gallaher bet 50,000. Percal raised to 160,000, and Gallaher shoved for 344,000, having Percal covered by just 8,000.

As Percal went into the tank, Gallaher slipped his hoodie over his head, until just a tuft of hair was sticking out of the top. Percal tanked for four minutes before finally folding, telling Gallaher, "You can come out. Nice hand."
