The PokerNews Live Reporting Team is in Milwaukee to live report action the $1,700 Main Event, but is just one of a dozen gold ring events at the stop. As such, we thought we’d profile some of the preliminary tournaments and those who struck it big.

The stop featured two Senior Events, both of which cost $250 to enter. The first attracted 258 entries and saw a $51,600 prize pool distributed to the top 39 players. Among those to make the money were Jon Driver (35th - $341), Harvey Bundy (30th - $372), John Taylor (20th - $503), James Tessier (14th - $686), and Paul “Big Daddy” Elfelt (7th - $1,626), who actually won a ring in a Seniors event the last time the Circuit visited the venue.

In the end, Sam Rameshk of Milwaukee, Wisconsin bested Illinois’ Gerald Heath in heads-up play to win the title for $11,856 and a gold ring.
