Day 1 of the 2019 WSOPC High Roller at The Bicycle Casino has come to an end. Today saw a total of 78 entries and 30 of those players put chips in a bag and will return on Day 2 which will happen Tomorrow at 1:00 p.m..

Brian Mancilla bagged the largest stack of the day with 250,000. Ryan McClintock (237,500), Phil Beesley (220,500), Joo Park (207,000) and Bill Klein (203,500), make up the rest of the top five.

Other notables that were able to bag today include Maxwell Young (149,000), Joe Serock (105,000), Upeshka De Silva (84,000), Mohsin Charania (80,500) and Dylan Wilkerson (42,000).

Late registration will be open until the beginning of Day 2 so the prize pool and payouts should be posted once the action begins.

Tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. local time the remaining players will play until a champion is crowned and the WSOPC ring is awarded.

Abdol Flops a Straight in a Massive Pot

With 11,000 in the pot Brian Mancilla bet 4,000 from the hijack on a flop reading {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. John Abdol was in middle position and check-raised to 12,000. Mancilla called.

The {6-Spades} fell on the turn and the action checked to Mancilla who bet 16,000. Abdol instantly grabbed a stack of chips and slammed them in the middle. The amount ended up totaling 50,000 and Mancilla called.

The {6-Clubs} completed the board and Abdol announced all in. Mancilla didn't waste much time before throwing in a chip to call.

A player limped from under the gun and Matas Cimbolas raised to 2,500 from the hijack. The cutoff and button called and Ian Steinman moved all in for 29,200 from the big blind. Cimbolas called and the rest of the players folded.

Steinman was able to find one of the remaining kings in the deck as the flop came {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Cimbolas was now in need of a club or an ace headed to the turn and river but the last king in the deck fell on the {k-Hearts} turn and the meaningless {6-Clubs} completed the board to give Steinman the full double up.

Xuan Liu raised to 300 from the cutoff and got called by the button and the big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Liu fired out a continuation bet of 1,000. The button called and the big blind quickly folded.

Liu checked it over to the button on the {5-Clubs} turn card and he bet 1,500. Liu put in a check-raise to 5,000. Her opponent said he wish he had just checked back but then called.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board and Liu bet 7,000. The button then raised to 16,000 . Liu moved all in for 35,000 and quickly got called.

Day 1 of the WSOP Circuit Bicycle Casino $3,250 High Roller Set to Begin

Event #14 of the 2019 WSOPC Bicycle Casino gets underway at 2:00 p.m. local time today. The $3,250 High Roller will have no entry fee for players that register within the first two levels of play.

Players will begin with 40,000 starting chips, and Day 1 is scheduled to play through a dozen 40-minute levels before wrapping up for the night. Late registration is available until the start of Day 2.

The blinds begin at 100/100 with a big blind ante kicking in at Level 2. Those blind/ante levels will go up to 800/1,600/1,600 at Level 12, the last level of play on Day 1.

The winner will be awarded a WSOP Circuit ring, and the right to be called the WSOP Circuit Bicycle High Roller champion.

Aaron Messmer was the winner of this event back in 2018 when the buy in was $2,200 and took home $57,600.

Everyone that makes it to the end of the day with chips will come back for Day 2 on Wednesday when they will play down to a winner.
