Job Doubles Against Graner

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Stephen Graner raised to 35,000 from the cutoff, the button called and Jonathan Job three-bet to 134,000 from the big blind. Graner announced all in and the button folded. Job snap called for his remaining 335,000.

Jonathan Job: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Stephen Graner: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

Job just needed to fade an ace, but the {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} flop left him needing to avoid a diamond as well. The {10-Spades} and {7-Spades} completed the board and Job doubled up to stay alive.

Steve Foutty Secures Sixth Ring in Event #5: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Bounty

While PokerNews is here offering live updates from the Main Event and High Roller, we’d be remiss if we didn’t tell you about the full schedule of side events that have been playing out over the past week at the World Series of Poker Circuit Harrah's Las Vegas.

In Event #5: $400 NLH Bounty, 86 entries created a $19,780 prize pool that was paid out to the top 13 players. Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were Joris Springael (10th- $464), Nghi Tran (11th - $464), Lloyd Yamada (12th - $464), and John Nowak (13th - $444).

In the end, it was Las Vegas native Steve Foutty who collected every chip in play to capture his first ring along with a $6,042 payday.

This is Foutty’s third ring in the 2019-2020 Circuit season. Before this season, it had been four years since his last Circuit victory. Despite the hot streak, Foutty insists he’s not doing anything differently. “Just continuing to grind,” he said.

Now that he’s a member of the six-ring club, only 17 players are ahead of him on the all-time rings list.

Nitis Udornpim
Nitis Udornpim

Nitis Udornpim opened on the burton for 24,000 and Jared Jaffee three-bet all in from the big blind. Udornpim called putting his stack at risk.

Jared Jaffee: {a-Clubs}{4-Spades}
Nitis Udornpim: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Udornpim had Jaffee dominated and nothing changed after the {6-Clubs}{5-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop.

The {6-Spades} on the turn paired the board while the {q-Hearts} river secured Udornpim's double for 188,000.

Udornpim Cracks Aces

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Nitis Udornpim raised to 75,000 from under the gun, leaving himself with just 25,000 behind. Preston Lee called on the button and they went heads up to a flop.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Udornpim check-called a bet for the rest of his stack.

Nitis Udornpim: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Preston Lee: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Udornpim was behind but picked up a flush draw when the {8-Clubs} fell on the turn. The {6-Clubs} completed the board and gave Udornpim the flush to double up.
