Majid Bozakraft

The final 1 p.m. start has been scheduled for the WSOP International Circuit Main Event here in Holland Casino Rotterdam for the twelve players who are left from the 495 entries who flocked to the felt here in the Netherlands. Those 495 entries created a total prize pool of €475,200 almost doubling the guarantee of €250,000 that was set. They have already secured €6,083 each but will all have their sights set on that first-place prize of €83,350, the WSOP Circuit Ring, and the $10,000 seat in the Global Casino Championship.

This is what they are still playing for:

PlacePrize (EUR)Prize (USD)
1€83,350$92,176

8€10,312$11,404
9-11€7,888$8,723
12€6,083$6,727

Leading the pack at the start of the day is Andrei Berinov with 3,110,000 in chips which is worth over 100 big blinds. He is followed by Majid Bozakraft and Day 1a chip leader, Renato Messina. Mustaf Biz and Alexandre Reard round out the top five.

Berinov and Reard are the only ones who already own some WSOP jewelry. Berinov claimed his first ring four months ago in the Colossus during WSOPC Sochi while Reard won one in April in Cannes and two days ago right here in Rotterdam when he took down the High Roller. Biz ran deep in the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event a month ago when he finished in 29th place. Bozakraft finished in 16th place in this event here in Rotterdam last year but will be aiming for the win this time. Messina won his first live poker tournament in Malta just over two weeks ago and has another win in his sights here in the Netherlands.

Francisco Marti, Viorel Roscovan, Max Dieleman, Samet Giral, Jimmy van der Want, Erik de Jong, and Meian Pan got some work ahead of them as they all bagged a below average stack. Pan has collected her first cash in Europe and it’s already her biggest one ever.

When the players return to the tables at 1 p.m., Level 25 will be started which features a small blind of 15,000, big blind of 30,000, and big blind ante of 30,000. Level duration has been increased to 60 minutes and a break has been scheduled after every two levels. Play will continue until a winner walks away from the feature table and the PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand to bring you all the action from the floor so stick around.

Van der Want Stays Alive

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Renato Messina limped in on the button and Erik de Jong took some time before raising to 95,000 in the small blind. Jimmy van der Want had paid a 20,000 ante with his last chips so was all-in. Messina folded.

Jimmy van der Want: {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Erik de Jong: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for Van der Want to hit top pair but still be behind against De Jong's overpair.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} which didn't help but the {6-Spades} on the river gave Van der Want two pair to stay alive with and win his 20,000 back.
