Huang Knocks Leadingham Out with a Monster

Shinya "Shamoo" Shimada

Jason Leadingham opened from the cutoff, David Moses called in the small blind and An Huang three-bet to 4,500 from the big blind.

Both opponents called and the flop came down {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}. Action checked to Leadingham who moved all in for just under 10,000 and Moses quickly folded to Huang who snap-called.

"I have a queen," said Leadingham as he tabled {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} for two pair but was in a bad spot when Huang turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, giving him three aces a great shot of taking down the hand.

The {5-Clubs} turn sealed the deal for Shimada who now had Leadingham drawing dead to the {7-Diamonds} river card. Leadingham was eliminated in Huang took down another pot.

Leadingham Secures a Double

Level 5 : 200/300, 300 ante

Jason Leadingham moved all in for his remaining 3,300 and Lara Eisenberg called, putting his tournament life at risk as they turned over their hands.

Jason Leadingham: {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Lara Eisenberg: {a-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Ledingham's rivered flush took down the pot for a much-needed double up.

The flop read {7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and there was around 5,000 in the middle. Christopher Barton bet 1,500 and only Lara Eisenberg called to see the {9-Clubs} turn card.

Barton bet 5,500 after seeing that third club and Eisenberg obliged, calling the bet. An {a-Spades} completed the board, Barton shoved all in for around 17,000 and Eisenberg quickly released, sending the pot to Barton.

Eisenberg Starts to Climb Back Up

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

David Moses opened to 400 from middle position, Dan Chalifour called in the cutoff, Lara Eisenberg called on the button, Jason Leadingham completed from the small and Jonathan Gilliam jumped in from the big blind.

The dealer fanned out {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}, action checked to Eisenberg who bet 1,000 and the only person to duck out was Gilliam. An {a-Hearts} peeled off on the turn and action checked through to Chalifour who bet 2,300.

All three of his opponents called and the dealer flipped over a {4-Spades}, completing the board. Action checked to Eisenberg, she threw in 5,000 and found three folds as she scooped in the pot.

"I had it on the flop," laughed Eisenberg as she tabled {8-Spades}{6-Spades} for a flopped straight and rivered flush.
