Spinella Versus Perry Once More

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

The table where Sean Perry, Anthony Spinella, Mark Salsberg and Colin Dentan reside continues to produce big pots, and the latest one went Spinella's way after a river value bet against Perry.

Spinella bet 20,000 from the small blind with the board showing {9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}, and Perry thought it over for a few moments before making the call. Spinella showed {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}, and Perry mucked upon seeing his opponent's two pair aces and jacks.

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

The hijack opened to 2,000, and Anthony Spinella three-bet to 5,500 from the cutoff. The hijack called.

The hijack check-called a 3,000 bet from Spinella on the {7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop. The hijack checked again on the {10-Diamonds} turn, Spinella bet 4,000, and the hijack folded.

Salsberg Shuts Down Spinella

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

With about 7,000 already in the pot, and {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} on the board, Matt Salsberg bet 2,100 from the big blind, and Anthony Spinella made the call from the button.

Salsberg bet 3,200 on the {6-Spades} river, and Spinella folded. Salsberg flashed the {10-Clubs} as he collected the pot.

McDermott Ousts Emerson

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante
Tim McDermott
Tim McDermott

Tylan Wilkerson limped in early position, Tim McDermott raised to 1,800 in the hijack, and Thomas Emerson three-bet all in for 21,000 total.

Action folded back around to McDermott, who made the call.

Thomas Emerson: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Tim McDermott: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

Board: {j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Emerson was at risk and found himself up against McDermott's pocket aces, with the flop {a-Diamonds} giving McDermott top set. A heart came in on the turn, giving Emerson hopes of a river flush, but that flush didn't come, and Emerson headed to the exit.

Wong Doubles Through Emerson

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Jeff Scott limped under the gun, Tyler Wilkerson raised to 1,600 in early position, and Ralph Wong three-bet all in for 15,800 from middle position.

Thomas Emerson made the call from the small blind, and all other players folded.

Ralph Wong: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Thomas Emerson: {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Board: {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts}

The {a-Diamonds} on the flop put Wong ahead, and his top pair held up through the rest of the runout.
