Alcorn Pushes Kent Off the Hand

Level 24 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

The flop read {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and there was around 120,000 in the pot. Thomas Alcorn bet 30,000 and Brian Kent raised to 90,000.

Alcorn called the raise and then threw in a blind bet of 30,000. The dealer flipped over an {8-Diamonds} as a turn card and Kent raised to 175,000 over the top of Alcorn's blind bet of 30,000.

Alcorn raised to 545,000 almost instantly and Kent took a brief moment to think. Ultimately Kent folded and Alcorn took down the pot.

Corcoran Collecting

Level 24 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Neal Corcoran
Neal Corcoran

In two hands within a matter of moments of each other, Neal Corcoran took a significant gain from a couple of his tablemates.

In the first hand, three players went all the way down to the river on a board that read {5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Thomas Alcorn and Neal Corcoran checked it over to David Nathaniel who was in position.

He waited a moment and made a bet of 150,000 into a pot of about 200,000. Corcoran called and turned over the winning hand with the {a-Hearts}{2-} which beat the {q-}{k-} of Nathaniel who said "Nice check" as he dusted off a few chips to Corcoran.

--

A couple of hands later action was at the turn with the board reading {2-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{9-Spades}. Alcorn fired a large bet of 250,000 into the middle and Corcoran came over the top with an all in shove.

Alcorn tanked for about 20 seconds before letting his hand go and Corcoran collected another boon to his stack.

Terri-Anne Crawford Eliminated in 14th Place ($11,839)

Level 24 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Terri-Anne Crawford
Terri-Anne Crawford

Terri-Anne Crawford moved all in for her remaining 305,000 stack and Steven Sarmiento called in the big blind, putter her at risk of elimination.

Terri-Anne Crawford: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Steven Sarmiento: {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The flop rolled out {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Sarmiento was still leading with his queen-high. A {q-Spades} fell as the turn card, giving him a pair of ladies as Crawford was now drawing to jack to stay alive. The {7-Spades} was not the card she needed as Sarmiento took down the pot, sending her out the door.

Larry Hirschfield

Dominique Mosley opened to 50,000 from the button, Nick Yunis called in the small blind and Larry Hirschfield moved all in for 670,000 from the big blind. Mosley shoved over the top and Yunis folded.

Larry Hirschfield: {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}
Dominique Mosley: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The flop came down {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Hirschfield was still in the lead with his pair of sevens. A {q-Spades} landed on the turn and Mosley took the lead with his newly acquired pair of ladies. The {2-Hearts} changed nothing as Hirschfield was eliminated by Mosley.

Martin Ryan

Three players went to a flop that came {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Martin Ryan moved all in for his remaining amount of about 360,000. Neal Corcoran was next to act and thought for a while before eventually deciding to fold.

Brian Kent could barely contain his glee as he announced call the instant Corcoran folded and immediately tabled the {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nuts, while Ryan meekly rolled over his {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and the river came the {j-Clubs} to send Ryan to the rail.
