After an action-packed Day 1 in the $2,200 High Roller at Horseshoe Hammond, there are only 40 players remaining of the 121 entries to start the day at 2:00 p.m on Monday, October 22. However, registration is still available until the tournament begins. Blinds will be restarting at 1,000/2,000/2,000 and all newcomers will receive 30,000 in chips.

Ryan Jones is coming in as the chipleader with a whopping 206,500 chips. Jones is coming fresh off the $1,700 Main Event Horseshoe Hammond Circuit cash where he finished 124th for $2,659.

Alex Ziskin is coming in with 178,500 after having a successful Day 1, getting a double up when he caught Brian Altman's bluff on the river and had to call off his entire stack. Almost immediately after that hand, Ziskin turned two pair against Altman again and check-raised all-in, holding up against Altman's top pair and a gutshot straight draw,

Day 2 will continue until a new champion is born, earning themself a World Series of Poker Circuit gold ring. The total prizepool will be announced after registration closes. Blinds will be 40-minutes throughout the entire tournament with a 15-minute break after every three levels.

Stay tuned to PokerNews for all of the updates throughout the rest of the tournament.
