Champlin Calls With Top Pair

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Four players were at the turn on a board that read {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The first player to act bet 1,500 and Spencer Champlin called after the other two players folded.

The river came the {7-Spades}. The first player led out with a bet of 5,000 which Champlin called after a couple of seconds.

Champlin turned over the {a-Spades}{3-Spades} for top pair which was good enough to take down the pot.

McDermott Calls With Tournament Life on the Line

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Action was on the turn on a board that read {4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs}. David McDermott was facing a bet of 6,000 from Michael Monicatti. The pot was already about 28,000. McDermott thought it through thoroughly before calling.

The river was the {8-Hearts}. Monicatti quickly tossed in enough chips to put McDermott's remaining 11,500 at risk. McDermott then went deep into the tank. After close to two minutes he called.

Monicatti showed the {a-}{k-} for merely ace high while McDermott had the winner as he showed the {j-Clubs}{9-Spades}.

Gin Flop for Jattin

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Farid Jattin three-bet to 3,300 preflop over an initial raise. It folded back around to the initial raiser who then four-bet to 10,000 which Jattin called after a few moments.

The two players saw a flop of {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. The first player to act jammed to force Jattin's remaining 19,800 all in. He snap called and turned over the flopped nuts with the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

His opponent shook his head and rolled over the {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and the river the {3-Hearts} to give Jattin the big pot.

Check-Raise Doesn't Scare Mendez

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

Porfiro Mendez opened the action with a raise under-the-gun to 1,600 which the cutoff and the big blind both called.

The dealer fanned a flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs} which the big blind checked, Mendez fired out 1,400 and the cutoff folded quickly before the big blind put in a raise to 6,400. Mendez pondered his options for a moment and fired in a re-raise to 14,600 and that was good enough to take down the pot,

Wolff Takes a Chunk out of Stellatos

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

In a five-way flop of {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for 1,200 each, the action checked to Michael Wolff in the cutoff who bet out 2,500, and Stellatos check-raised it up to 8,000 from the big blind which pushed the rest of the players out of the hand before Wolff announced all-in for 36,600 which Stellatos snap-called.

Gregory Stellatos: {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Michael Wolff: {5-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Wolff had flopped a set of fives and had to fade Stellatos' nut-flush draw and the {k-Clubs} on the turn sealed his double up when he made a full house before the board completed with the {7-Spades} on the river.
