Alcorn Out-Flops Chugani

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Heather Alcorn was sitting on a stack of around 10 big blinds and that was after she was seen pulling in a pot. She was back at it again and shoved all in for around 12,000 in middle position. The action folded to Arun Chugani in the big blind who made the call for his last 10,500 chips and Alcorn wasn't happy about it.

Heather Alcorn: {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Arun Chugani: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Chugani had Alcorn dominated but the flop of {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} put Alcorn in the lead with a pair of tens. The {9-Clubs} on the turn gave Chugani a straight draw but the {a-Spades} on the river bricked off.

Arnett Calls Correctly

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

A completed board of {q-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{k-Hearts}{k-Clubs} was spread across the felt with a little over 20,000 in the middle already. Kristy Arnett checked from the small blind and Steven Fuhrman tossed in a bet of 8,000 from the big blind.

Arnett took her time before making the call and Fuhrman indicated it was a good call. Arnett turned over {q-Spades}{2-Spades} and was awarded the pot with two pair.

Bardah Recovers Some Chips

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

It only took a couple of preflop raises before Jorge Guerra got all of his chips in the middle. Guerra was at risk for a little under 10,000 chips but ran into the monster of Ronnie Bardah.

Ronnie Bardah: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Jorge Guerra: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

Both players held premium hands but Bardah's aces were comfortably in the lead. The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Bardah made a set of aces on the river to secure the pot and eliminate Guerra.

Salazar Doubles Through Boghosian

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Todd Boghosian made it 2,000 to go on the button and was called by both of the blinds. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and the blinds checked to Boghosian who bet 3,300. Mauricio Salazar check-raised to 6,600 from the small blind which got the big blind to fold. Boghosian responded by shoving all in and Salazar quickly called off his stack of 28,700.

Mauricio Salazar: {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Todd Boghosian: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Despite flopping a set of deuces, Salazar was still forced to sweat the straight flush draw of Boghosian. The {10-Clubs} on the turn gave Boghosian a flush but Salazar also improved to a full house. The {4-Diamonds} completed the board and Salazar scored a double up.

Bardah Makes the Right Fold

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante
Ronnie Bardah
Ronnie Bardah

In a four-way limped pot, the dealer fanned the flop of {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades}. All four players checked and the {k-Clubs} landed on the turn. The small blind led out for 1,000 and Ronnie Bardah called from the big blind. Martin Koole also called from the hijack as did the button.

All four players were still in the pot when the {a-Hearts} paired the board on the river. The small blind fired out another bet of 3,000 and Bardah raised it up to 7,000. Koole instantly tossed in a raise to 35,000. The action was back on Bardah who gave it some thought and eventually took Koole's advice and folded. Koole showed {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a full house and Bardah nodded in approval.

Contreras Isolates with Big Slick

Level 9 : 400/800, 800 ante

Derrick Contreras opened to 2,000 in middle position and found two callers. Joseph Palo was in the big blind and shipped all in for his last 9,500 chips. The door was open for Contreras to re-shove all in which got the other two players to fold.

Derrick Contreras: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Joseph Palo: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}

Contreras was in a dominating position and the flop of {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} put him even further ahead. The {9-Hearts} on the turn left Palo drawing dead to the {5-Spades} on the river.
