Oliva Looking for Another Deep Run

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Jakub Oliva was all-in for 422,000 in the big blind and at risk as he was covered and called by Eddie Cronholm in the cutoff.

Jakub Oliva: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Eddie Cronholm: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for Oliva's king-kicker to come into play to double him up.

Oliva finished in 3rd place earlier this year during the Spring edition of the WSOPC here in Rozvadov and is looking to do well again.

Rago Cheers Loudly

Level 23 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Giuseppe Rago could be heard celebrating and still had the {a-Spades}{9-Clubs} exposed in front of him for two pair.

The board read {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

It's not clear whether the chips went in on the flop, turn, or river but the double-up he got paid was for 215,000 with a pot in the middle already. Kristoffer Rasmussen paid up as he held the {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the missed straight draw.

Chen Chucks Raz Out

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Zhong Chen
Zhong Chen

Friedrich Raz shoved from the cutoff and Zhong Chen asked for a count on the button. The dealer confirmed Raz had 192,000 behind and Chen decided to make the call while the blinds got out of their way.

Friedrich Raz: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Zhong Chen: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for Raz to hit top pair but for Chen to pick up the Broadway-draw.

The turn was the {q-Hearts} to give Chen the Broadway indeed.

A ten on the river would chop the pot but the {8-Hearts} came instead for Raz to hit the rail in 65th place.

A few seconds later, Mykola Lakatosh was also eliminated.
