Tatar Falls to Full House

Level 8 : 300/700, 700 ante

Pulkit Goyal raised to 1,800 from the late position and was called by Francis Neizen in the hijack, and Marek Tatar and Abelardo Hafauri in the blinds.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}, they all checked except Neizen who bet 3,500. Tatar responded with a raise to 15,000 Hafauri tanked for almost two minutes before folding. Goyal now jumped into the tank for that long that another player on the table called the clock on him. The floor came over and gave Goyal 30 seconds to make a decision. Goyal considered his options for another 27 seconds while staring at Tatar before folding. Neizen shoved and Tatar snap-called for the 38,300 he had behind in total.

Marek Tatar: {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Francis Neizen: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}

Tatar had the flush draw while Neizen had flopped a set of sevens.

The turn was the {2-Clubs} to give Tatar the flush indeed but the {2-Hearts} pair the board on the river for Neizen to improve to the full house to eliminate Tatar.

Arkun's Three-Bet is Enough

Level 8 : 300/700, 700 ante

The flop read {10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Spades} with just over 13,000 in the middle already. Anatoly Korochenskiy checked from under the gun and Huseyin Arkun led out for 6,500. Korochenskiy responded with a raise to 13,000 but Arkun fired back with a three-bet to 36,500. Korochenskiy shook his head and then decided to fold.

Desset Gets the Fold

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Sebastian Kappenberg raised to 1,700 from the late position and Andrej Desset three-bet to 5,400 in the hijack. Aleksandar Tomovic called on the button while the blinds and Kappenberg folded.

They both checked through the {2-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop to the {k-Diamonds} on the turn. Desset fired a bet of 7,500 into the pot and that was enough for Tomovic to let the hand go.

Blom Busted by Arieli

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante
Viktor Blom
Viktor Blom

Viktor Blom raised from under the gun and was called by Besnik Lalinovci in the middle position. Jan Streicher three-bet to 4,100 in the late position, Nisan Arieli called in the hijack and Vladimir Bednar did the same in the big blind. Blom and Lalinovci went along too.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, everyone checked to Streicher who led out for 11,000. Arieli decided to shove and that was enough for Bednar to fold. Blom decided to shove too for 34,800 which was less than Arieli. Everyone else decided to fold including Streicher himself.

Viktor Blom: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Nisan Arieli: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Arieli held the overpair while Blom was sitting on the flush draw and gutshot to a straight.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} to pair Blom up and give him some extra outs but he bricked the river as the {a-Hearts} completed the board. Blom made his way out of the tournament area but might decided to reenter later today or during the first two levels of the day on Day 2.

Six-Bet Pot Ends in Anti-Climax

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Sebastian Ulrich said that there was an interesting hand earlier and the whole table chipped in to relay the story:

Shay Rozenbaum raised to 800 from under the gun and Ulrich himself in the cutoff three-bet to 2,500. Anson Tsang four-bet to 6,300 on the button. Sebastian Pauli quickly got out of their way in the small blind. Rozenbaum five-bet to 15,400 and now Ulrich folded. Tsang six-bet to 25,400 and Rozenbaum made the call.

The flop came {10-}{7-}{2-} with two clubs.

"I folded top two pair" Pauli said with a smile.

Rozenbaum check-shoved for around 24,000 when Tsang bet 8,000 who then ended up folding.

Rozenbaum showed he had pocket jacks.

Tsang claimed to have folded kings according to the table. "I had 25,000 behind, I couldn't beat anything," Tsang shrugged.
