El Abdallaoui Calls Good But Punished on the River

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {A-}{7-}{5-}{4-} and Hassan Fares had raised [Removed:69] all-in after El Abdallaoui had bet. It took a while but El Abdallaoui finally made the call and he saw Fares open {8-}{5-}. He himself opened up {Q-}{Q-} and he was well ahead.

The river was the {5-} giving Fares trips and the better hand. El Abdallaoui pushed chips over to Fares with a defeated look on his face while Fares got up to celebrate with his friends on the rail.

Azzalerab Sent to the Rail After Nasty River

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Julien Robert cold four-bet from the big blind after an open and a three-bet from Sairi Azzelarab. The initial raiser folded and Azzelarab moved all in for about 260,000. Robert called and put him at risk.

Julien Robert: {9-}{9-}
Sairi Azzelarab: {A-}{A-}

The flop and turn were safe, but the river landed a nine to give Robert a set. Azzelarab got eliminated in a nasty bad beat and collected 32,000 MAD (approx. €2,940).
