Teusl Wins a Big Flip

Level 12 : 700/1,400, 175 ante

Jessica Teusl four-bet jammed with {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} for 84,642 and was called by Shuoqian "raisetwice88" Wang with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for his remaining stack of 58,373.

Wang was ahead on what essentially was a flip but the advantage went over to Teusl after she paired up on the {6-Clubs}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop. The {9-Diamonds} turn and the {7-Clubs} river wasn't able to get Wang back in the hand to give Teusl a healthy stack.

Meanwhile, Wang re-entered after the hand and wound up at the same table as before.

Bad Beat for Paris

Level 19 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Bryan Paris got back into the action on the break but is out again, this time permanently.

Paris open-jammed for 37,650 from the small blind with {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. Stefan "C3H5N3O6" Lehner used a bit of their time bank before they opted to call with {q-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Paris was ahead after the {2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} came on the flop and still ahead after the {6-Diamonds} paired the board on the river. However, the {7-Clubs} landed on the river to connect with his opponent and Paris' run at a WSOPC gold ring in this event was over.

Matthias "Mattinho" Auer Eliminated in 9th Place ($9,094)

Level 38 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

"jerryv36" opened from under the gun and got calls from Oliver Weis in middle position and Matthias "Mattinho" Auer in the big blind.

The action checked around to Weis after the {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} came on the flop and he bet 402,600. "jerryv36" folded an Auer called.

Auer check-called a bet of 1,419,656 after the {2-Clubs} followed on the turn.

The {a-Spades} completed the board on the river and Auer checked again. Weis jammed and Auer snap-called off his stack of 4,585,546.

Weis flashed the "Goodbye" emote as he turned over {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} for a set. Auer, who had a flush draw on the turn, called with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for a rivered top pair, which wasn't near good enough and was the first player eliminated at the final table in ninth place for $9,094.

Meanwhile, Weis took the chip lead after the hand.
