Cheong Takes the Lead

Level 29 : 800,000/1,600,000, 200,000 ante

After several small pots, "likeboy" opened to 3.2 million in the cutoff and was called by Joseph Cheong in the big blind. Cheong opted for a check-raise from 2,706,000 to 8,423,040 on the {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop and picked up a call.

Cheong then bet the {5-Hearts} turn for 10,519,354 and the {q-Spades} river for 19,355,611. "likeboy" called both bets with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs} but Cheong had flopped the best-possible hand with {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.
