Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

The board read {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and there was around 8,500 in the pot when Andrew Kaplan checked to Charles Johnson who threw in a bet of around 2,700.

Kaplan check-raised to 12,000 and Johnson called after a brief moment of thought. Kaplan tabled {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} for a set and Johnson quickly folded, sending the pot to Kaplan.

Farber Lands a River to Send Patel Out

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

David Farber opened to 1,100 from the middle position and found three callers, Talesh Patel included in the big blind. The dealer fanned out {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} on the flop and all four players checked to the {j-Clubs} turn card.

Patel bet 2,100 and only Farber called to see the {6-Clubs} river. Patel moved all in and before he could even push his chips Farber called.

Patel tabled {4-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a flopped straight but it was not enough when Farber showed his {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, giving him a rivered flush and the pot.

Shanmukha Shoves

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

The board read {5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} with a pot of around 30,000 in the middle. Meruga Shanmukha hesitated for a few moments before moving all in for his remaining amount of 28,600.

Cheri Beatty was the one who had the big decision on her. She went deep into the tank to asses the situation. After thinking for over a minute she briefly flashed one card to herself but didn't show the entire table and then mucked her hand to give the pot to Shanmukha.
