Kern Continues to Climbs, Sends Nguyen to the Rail

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Matthew Kern limped and Loc Nguyen raised to 35,000. Kern three-bet to 93,000 and Nguyen called to see the {k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop. Kern check-called a bet of 125,000 from Nguyen and the {10-Hearts} landed on the turn.

Kern again tapped the table and Nguyen jammed all in, totaling around 255,000 and Kern called, putting Nguyen at risk of elimination.

Nguyen turned over {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for top two but was in rough shape when Kern showed {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for a better two pair. A {2-Clubs} river cemented the pot for Kern and Nguyen was eliminated from the tournament.

Wayslenko Lands a River to Double Through Kern

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

A player raised to 19,000 before the flop, finding two callers in Eric Wayslenko and Matthew Kern. The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} and Kern led out for 35,000.

Wayslenko was the only player to call and a {2-Clubs} landed on the turn. Kern bet 65,000 and Wayslenko moved all in, totaling 239,000. Kern called, tabling {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a flopped flush and was ahead when Wayslenko showed his {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a set of snowmen.

Dube Sends Snead to the Brink

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Paul Snead was spotted standing up and was clearly none too pleased at a hand that had just transpired.

The board read {7-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}. Snead had flopped a set of queens with {q-}{q-} but lost to runner runner flush to the {j-Spades}{10-Spades} of Mark Dube.

According to Snead he bet each street and was called all the way down as Dube found the flush on the river. The dealer cut away a large proportion of Snead's chips over to Dube while Snead continued to curse in anger the play of his opponent.
