Schuchaskie Scorches Ortiz

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Heather Schuchaskie raised to 18,000 from under the gun, and Jose Ortiz three-bet to 52,000 from middle position. Schuchaskie four-bet shoved, and Ortiz called off his last 202,000.

Jose Ortiz: {q-}{q-}
Heather Schuchaskie: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

Schuchaskie's kings stayed in front on the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop, and the {j-Clubs} turn gave both players quads, but Schuchaskie was guaranteed at least half of the pot. The only way Ortiz could survive is if an ace fell on the river, but the {2-Clubs} river ended his run.

Full House No Good For Dimitrov

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

"Have I got a story for you!" Dimitre Dimitrov told the PokerNews live reporting team as he made his way from the tournament.

Dimitrov held {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and a {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-}{q-Hearts} board was on the felt. Miguel Dabul bet 25,000 from the big blind, and Dimitrov jammed his 52,000 with his full house. Dabul tanked for a bit, then called and tabled {10-Hearts}{10-}. The dealer mucked his hand and Dimitrov started to pull back his chips, but players at the table pointed out that Dabul actually held a straight flush!

Dabul won the pot, but Dimitrov took the beat in stride, still in good spirits after his rough beat.

Reichard Administers Massive Knockout

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Josh Reichard
Josh Reichard

The button opened to 13,000, Josh Reichard three-bet to 45,000 from the big blind, the button four-bet to 106,000, and Reichard called.

The flop came {2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}, and Reichard check-called a 45,000 bet.

Both players checked the {k-Clubs} turn.

The river came {3-Clubs}, Reichard checked, the button shoved for 140,000, and Reichard snap called.

The button showed {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} for a set of kings, but Reichard's {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} for a set of aces was the winner. Reichard is up over the 900k mark in the aftermath.
