While PokerNews is here offering live updates from the Main Event, we’d be remiss if we didn’t tell you about the full schedule of side events that have been playing out over the past week at the World Series of Poker Circuit Potawatomi.

In Event #11: $250 NLH Turbo, 366 runners created a $73,200 prize pool that was paid out to the top 55 players. Among those to cash but fall short of the official final table were Okan Bas (10th- $1,112), George Pappas (23rd - $571), Cody Brinn (27th - $505), Christopher Underwood (41st - $377), James Burns (45th - $377) and Daniel Dombrowski (51st - $369.

In the end, it was North Carolina native Joshua "Plinko" Clanton who collected every chip in play to win his sthird gold ring along with a $15,374 payday.

The one-day tournament generated a total prizepool of $73,200. “Plinko” went into the final table at the bottom of the chip stacks but he never lost focus gathering chips from players until there were four players remaining.

Mack Ham was the first to bite the bullet after getting in his short stack ahead but fell victim to Gayle McCormick’s four-card straight.
Tim Frank was next after he jammed his ace-nine into Clanton’s pocket aces and took his exit in third place.

The heads-up battle saw Clanton hold the majority of the chips in play, but after two double-ups, McCormick took the chip lead and continued to play well until Clanton flopped a set of three’s ending her night in second place.

“Mack, Tim, and Gayle all played really well,” Clanton stated about his last three opponents.

The victory marked Clanton’s third ring, but he gave his first two away to some very important people in his life.

“This one's for me,” stated Clanton. “My first ring I won it was my son’s birthday so I gave him that one and then when I won my second one it was my daughter’s birthday the next week so she got that one, so this one is mine,” Clanton said with a smile on his face. This win brings Clanton’s WSOP earnings to just under $150,000.

“I just want to say thank you to my very special girlfriend Amanda for letting me play and to all the dealers/staff for doing an outstanding job.”
