At 1 p.m. local time Day 2 of the WSOP Circuit Rio Las Vegas Main Event gets underway with the 57 Day 1a survivors combining with the 89 Day 1b survivors to create a returning field of 146 of a total starting field of 747.
The top four stacks, the ones over 400,000 all come from Day 1b. Including the returning chip leader who will be Trung Pham with 485,000. Kevin Calenzo follows him with 452,000, Paul Murphy with 442,000 and Martin Zamani with 429,500 round out the largest stacks. Day 1a chip leader, Michael Stein enters the day fifth in chips with 387,000.

Action was caught on the river with the board reading . A large pot of at least 140,000 was in the middle already.
From the small blind, action was on Brock Wilson who thought for about 20 seconds before checking. Noam Muallem was next to act and thought for an equally long time as Wilson did for tapping the table to check back.
Wilson table the case jack with the , showing that he was hoping for a Muallem bet on the river.
"I snap call if you jam" said Muallem with a smile as he claimed to have had the second best hand for that board.

The pot had about 170,000 in the middle already and Paul Murphy put about a bet of 60,000 on the river. Tan thought for a good while before making the call.
