Small Ball Returns

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

There haven't been any big pots at the side table since the elimination of Laurent Benhayoun. Pots are either being taken down with a single preflop raise or on the flop in the handful of limped pots that have taken place.

Rui Bouquet opened to 65,000 from the hijack before Laurent Benhayoun jammed for 290,000.

Bouquet asked how much and then quickly made the call when he learned it was about a 10 big blind shove.

Laurent Benhayoun: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}
Rui Bouquet: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Benhayoun got out of his seat after the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop paired his opponent. Benhayoun was eliminated in 14th place for 78,000 MAD (€7,332/$8,129) after neither the {9-Diamonds} on the turn nor the {2-Clubs} on the river were able to save him.

Bouzgarrou and Faggioli Eliminated at the T.V. Table

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Two players were just eliminated at the t.v. table. The stream wasn't live but the players shared the action.

First to go was Mohamed Bouzgarrou in 16th place for 68,000 MAD (€6,392/$7,087) at the T.V. table. He open-jammed for about 250,000 with {7-}{7-} and was called by Samiyel Duzgun with {k-}{2-}. A {k-} appeared on the river and Bouzgarrou was the first player out on the final day.

Ugo Faggioli was the next player eliminated at the t.v. table in 15th place for 78,000 MAD (€7,332/$8,129). He opened with {8-}{8-} before he called a three-bet jam from Andrew Hills with {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}. A {j-} came on the flop and Faggioli was unable to connect on the turn or river to get back into the hand.

Meanwhile, Frederic Ayadi has been moved from the outer table to the t.v. table.

Ayadi Cracks Aces

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Frederic Ayadi
Frederic Ayadi

Frederic Ayadi jammed from the cutoff for 455,000 and was called by Rui Bouquet from the button.

Frederic Ayadi: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Rui Bouquet: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Ayadi was in big jeopardy to be the first player eliminated on the final day. The poker gods shined on the French player as the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{10-Spades} ran out on the board to give him a straight to double up his stack.

Bouquet Wins a Small Pot

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Rui Bouquet chipped up a little in a hand that took nearly ten minutes to complete without going to showdown.

The hand began with Bouquet opening to 65,000 from under the gun. TMV called from the hijack as did Marc Poustis and Frederic Ayadi from the small and big blinds.

The action checked through after the {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs} came on the flop before Poustis led out for 85,000 after the {4-Diamonds} came on the turn. Ayadi and Bouquet called and TMV folded.

The {2-Clubs} completed the board on the river. The action checked around to Bouquet and he bet 110,000. After a little time, both Poustis and Ayadi folded and the dealer awarded Bouquet the pot.
