Latest Chip Counts from the Room

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Huley Eliminated by Alexandridis

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Symeon Alexandridis
Symeon Alexandridis

On a three-way flop of {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Symeon Alexandridis in the big blind was involved in three-way action. Dimitri Huley got his stack of 51,500 into the middle from a middling position and he was called by Umit Dalkilic from one seat over and Alexandridis, who had check-raised.

The {8-Hearts} fell on the turn and Alexandridis pushed for 286,000 for Dalkilic to immediately say something along the lines of "I have a flush draw and hit the board". He asked for an exact count and sigh-folded.

Dimitry Huley: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Symeon Alexandridis: {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The {2-Diamonds} river was a blank and that spelled the end for Huley.

Double Knockout for Labarile

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Tommaso Bonini was all-in before the flop from the cutoff with the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Engin Arslan got his last 6,500 in from the button with the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Vito Labarile had both comfortably covered and revealed {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. Not only one but two queens appeared on the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds} board and that ensured the double knockout for Labarile.

Trauer Busts in Big Pot Against Colavita

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Pierre Trauer
Pierre Trauer

The action was picked up on the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop on which Besnik Lalinovci had checked out of the big blind. Pierre Trauer also checked and Mario Colavita then bet 12,000 in the hijack and Lalinovci got out of the way. Trauer check-raised big to 62,000 for Colavita to call and they headed to the {9-Diamonds} turn.

Trauer had around 183,000 behind and moved all-in to get snap-called by Colavita with the covering stack.

Pierre Trauer: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Mario Colavita: {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}

While Trauer had improved to a straight he was left with just two outs for a straight flush, as Colavita had flopped a full house. No miracle came on the {10-Hearts} river and Trauer quickly left the tournament area.

147 Players Remain

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Eliminations are coming thick and fast, here is the list of the latest casualties.

Huber's Aces Get Cracked By Melchers

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Dorian Melchers

Jens Stumpe opened to 6,500 and Dorian Melchers then three-bet to 22,000. Oliver Huber four-bet jammed his short stack of 56,000 and Stumpe folded while Melchers called.

Oliver Huber: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Dorian Melchers: {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {j-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop spelled trouble for Huber and the {7-Clubs} turn improved Melchers to a flush. Another club was required for Huber to survive but the {2-Hearts} river was a blank to send the German to the rail.

Cohen's Ruthless Aggression Wins Another Pot

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Kestutis Jungevicius bet 5,000 with a board of {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} at the turn. Nils Evers called but both players were shocked to see a massive bet of 45,000 from Tom Cohen. Jungevicius played with his chips and eventually called, Evers quickly mucked.

The river brought {j-Hearts} and Cohen continued the aggression with a bet of 40,000. Jungevicius folded his hand but it looked as though his hand couldn't quite release his cards. Cohen continues to chip up at an impressive rate.

Beretta Doubles Through Yazbeck

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

With some 35,000 already in the middle, the cards were exposed as Mahmoud Yazbeck with the {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Luca Beretta with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} were at it. It was Beretta at risk for 28,500 but he had the best hand on the {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. Nothing changed on the {6-Clubs} turn and {7-Hearts} river to keep Beretta in contention.

Yazbeck shook his head and dropped well below the average. He was a big stack before but that role now belongs to Lorenzo Lavis.
