Cohen Shocked to Still be in Tournament

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a board of {9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades} Yehuda Cohen bets 45,000. Alfredo Cuti cautiously made the call.

Yehuda Cohen : {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Alfredo Cuti: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}

Cohen is stunned that Cuti did not raise with his set over set. Cohen proclaimed "I would have called if you went all in!"

The bubble continues.

Gicovanu Doubles on the Bubble

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Gicovanu Doubles on Bubble
Gicovanu Doubles on Bubble

With most of his chips already invested, Marius Gicovanu pushed for the last 28,000 on the {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and Silviu Baltateanu called in the cutoff. Once all other tables were completed, the cards were turned over.

Marius Gicovanu: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Silviu Baltateanu: {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

The {a-Hearts} turn improved Baltateanu but the {k-Hearts} river gave Gicovanu the four-card flush and double.

Mis-Step by Colavita on Bubble Doubles-up Nachshon

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On the button, Mario Colavita pushed all in to put pressure on the blinds. Unfortunately, he ran into Itamar Nachshon's big hand:

Mario Colavita: {6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Itamar Nachson: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

A board of {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} was no help to Colavita and the rest of the room returned to their seats disappointed that the bubble hasn't burst.

Subik Doubles; Wheeler Bubbles

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

There were two all-in and call at the same time on separate tables as the tense bubble action continued.

Petr Subik open-jammed for the last 184,000 in the cutoff and Martin Kabrhel called out of the big blind.

Petr Subik: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Martin Kabrhel: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The aces held up on the {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{a-Spades} board for Subik to double.

At the same time, Jason Wheeler three-bet with a chip behind and then called all-in for 86,000 when Nedeljko Todorovic pushed with the superior stack.

Jason Wheeler: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Nedeljko Todorovic: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

The classic flip propelled Todorovic into the lead on the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} flop, which he kept throughout the {2-Clubs} turn and {10-Clubs} river to let the bubble burst.

Post Bubble Action Has Resumed

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jan van der Stroom pushed on the button for 200,000 and was called by Claudio Di Giacomo in the big blind.

The Dutchman flipped with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} versus {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and instantly flopped a flush on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{10-Clubs} board.

Aleksandar Kaludercic was then eliminated shortly after on the same table while Andrea Ricci became the second casualty in the money moments later.

Chaitas Eliminated by Di Giacomo

Ioannis Chaitas
Ioannis Chaitas

Claudio Di Giacomo raised to 25,000 in the hijack and Ioannis Chaitas then pushed for 114,000 on the button. Abdel Khalil asked for a count in the big blind but folded while Di Giacomo shrugged and called.

Ioannis Chaitas: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Claudio Di Giacomo: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}{2-Spades} flop improved Di Giacomo to kings and queens. Nothing changed on the {9-Hearts} turn and the {7-Diamonds} river was another blank to send Chaitas to the payout desk.

Sverko Doubles Through Bise

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Both Gregor Sverko and Emil Bise found themselves all-in preflop.

Gregor Sverko: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Emil Bise: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Sverko had a very favorable flop when {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} hit the felt. Sverko was not very happy with the {2-Diamonds} on the turn which gave additional outs to Bise. Thankfully for Sverko, there was a safe {8-Hearts} on the river to confirm his double up.

Kinno Chips Up; Bise Runs Out of Time

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Nadir Kinno welcomed Andro Scarpa to the table and hero-called with what appeared to have been the bottom pair with {3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} while Scarpa's ace-jack was a bluff.

At the same time, Emil Bise was in the tank on the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} turn while in the big blind. Silviu Baltateanu had pushed from an early position and the clock was called on Bise. Thirty seconds ran down and Bise's hand was dead.

Munteanu Runs Out of Chips

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Martin Scharfetter escaped from elimination when his {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades} spiked an ace on the river to put a dent into the stack of Bogdan Munteanu. Soon after, Munteanu was then flipping against David Taborsky with the latter at risk for 208,000.

David Taborsky: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Bogdan Munteanu: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

The {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs} board delivered the dreadful ace on the river. Munteanu was left with 20,000 and busted right after, he was joined on the rail by Elias Abou Saleh moments later.
