Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Armand Muratoglu was ousted on the two outer feature tables and the next all-in showdown followed shortly after in the poker arena. Volkan Alkan three-bet and then called all-in when Cristian Nogales Bravo as the initial raiser squeezed.

Volkan Alkan: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Cristian Nogales Bravo: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Nogales Bravo shook his head when the cards were exposed and found no help on the {k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board.

Griese Eliminated by Cirillo

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Frank Griese
Frank Griese

Stefan Bittger became the next casualty on the two outer stream tables and shortly after, the field was reduced to the final 50 in the poker arena. Frank Griese was the player at risk for 253,000 and he was called by Matteo Cirillo with the far bigger stack.

Frank Griese: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Matteo Cirillo: {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop gave Griese middle set while Cirillo had top pair only. After the {7-Clubs} turn, Cirillo only had four outs and he nailed one of them with the {10-Hearts} river. Griese left his chair in silence and slowly walked out of the tournament area.

Beilharz and Pichierri Eliminated

Level 19 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Alessandro Pichierri
Alessandro Pichierri

The cards of Joachim Beilharz were already in the muck as his chips were pushed towards Mihaita Georgita. The latter had defended the big blind with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and flopped two pair, then made a full house on the river of a {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} board.

At the same time one table over, a rather small pot to the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}{k-Spades} river saw Dmytro Bystrovzorov lead for 55,000 in the small blind. Alessandro Pichierri raised to 155,000 in the cutoff with around as much behind and Bystrovzorov moved all-in. Pichierri went deep into the tank and the clock was called on him.

With around five seconds left, Pichierri called it off and Bystrovzorov tabled the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} for aces full to knock out Pichierri with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} for trips kings.

Josef Huber
Josef Huber

Sharon Ben David busted on the two outer tables upstairs while Josef Huber saw his tournament life come to an end in the back of the poker arena.

Huber got it in preflop and had a classic flip against Maris Gicovanu.

Josef Huber: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Marius Gicovanu: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

The {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{10-Hearts} board gave Gicavonu superior two pair and Huber was the last player to settle for €3,730.

Mihaita Georgita
Mihaita Georgita

Adam Ondrik pushed for the last 220,000 from under the gun and was called by Simone Miracoli from two seats over. Mihaita Georgita then reshoved for 383,000 in the big blind with Miracoli quickly calling.

Adam Ondrik: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Mihaita Georgita: {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Simone Miracoli: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

"Come on, ace or king one time, it's not that difficult," Ondrik sighed in table chat. However, it was Georgita who ended up with the best hand on the {j-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} board to double with a set.
