Evis Chips Up Through Farhat

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Buelent Evis
Buelent Evis

In the last hand prior to the break, Riadh Ben Farhat raised to 4,000 from under the gun and called a three-bet to 14,000 by Buelent Evis. The duo headed to the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop on which Ben Farhat checked and subsequently called a bet worth 17,000.

Ben Farhat also check-called the {a-Diamonds} turn for 20,000 and then checked the {5-Clubs} river. Evis checked behind to get shown the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for trips aces, to which he first rolled over the {k-Diamonds}. That was followed by the {a-Hearts} and a rather stunned Ben Farhat contemplated if that was a slowroll or not.

Popa Loses the Minimum

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The table of Rachid El Yaacoubi broke after the break and he recalled a hand in which he min-raised and Tudor Popa three-bet to 14,500 for El Yaacoubi to call. On a {a-}{a-}{2-} flop, Popa called a min-raise to 18,000 and both then checked down the {3-} turn and {4-} river runout.

Popa tabled the {a-}{k-} to win the pot. "I had ace-jack," El Yaacoubi said and Popa chimed in. "Really? I don't think so, maybe ace-seven," before they parted ways.

Bouchouit Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Joining the action on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs} turn, Mohamed Bouchouit made it 13,500 out of the small blind. Narcis Nedelcu called in the big blind and the duo headed to the {10-Hearts} on the river. Bouchouit now fired a bet worth 21,000 and that got rid of Nedelcu.

Kaimakamis Flipped Out by Goossens

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Vangelis Kaimakamis
Vangelis Kaimakamis

Vangelis Kaimakamis got his shorter stack of around 65,000 into the middle before the flop and he was looked up by Guy Goossens to trigger the following all-in contest.

Vangelis Kaimakamis: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Guy Goossens: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop gave Goossens broadway while Kaimakamis had plenty of outs with his bottom set. However, both the {2-Hearts} turn and {3-Clubs} river were blanks to end the end of the WSOP Europe bracelet winner from Greece.

Ren Loses It All in Two Hands

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Sebastian Langrock
Sebastian Langrock

Guangwei Ren called a three-bet by Sebastian Langrock and both then had a piece of the {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop after which Langrock got it in with the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}. Ren was trailing with the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} and found no miracle on the {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts} turn and river runout.

One hand later, Tudor Popa raised to 5,500 from under the gun and Ren three-bet to 15,000 out of a stack of 80,000. Popa then moved all-in and Ren called it off.

Guangwei Ren: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Tudor Popa: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

There was no glimpse of hope on the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs} runout as Ren went from average stack to the rail.
