Who Will Reach the Final Table in the 2022 WSOP International €1,700 Main Event Autumn Edition

Poker Arena at King's Resort
Poker Arena at King's Resort

The penultimate day of the 2022 World Series of Poker International Circuit €1,700 Main Event will kick off at 2pm local time with 84 players out of 748 entries remaining. Almost immediately, the money bubble will be looming in the poker arena of the King's Resort in Rozvadov as only the top 80 finishers earn a portion of the €1,101,430 prize pool.

A min-cash is worth €3,395 while reaching the nine-handed final table comes with a payday of at least €16,465. The latter is the goal for the night as Day 3 is scheduled to play down to the official live-streamed final table. This could certainly turn into a lengthy affair with the blinds resuming in level 19 at blinds of 6,000-12,000 and a running ante of 12,000, the current average stands at more than 37 big blinds.

Six players have accumulated seven-figure stacks so far and the UK's Matthew Bushell leads the pack with 1,208,000, followed closely by Eden Anzio (1,183,000), and Mirza Veletanlic (1,147,000). Czech WSOP Main Event finalist Vojtech Ruzicka, WSOP Europe bracelet winner Renat Bohdanov, and Dawid Smolka also return in the top ten alongside Lars Kamphues.

Notables from near and far in a prime position for a run to the nine-handed final table on the penultimate day include Waheed Ashraf, Nicola Angelini, Onur Unsal, Jason Wheeler, Georgios Tsouloftas, Sergiu Covrig, and Marek Blasko.

The last player to win a WSOP Circuit Main Event at the King's Resort is also still on track for back-to-back victories as well. Volkan Alkan (340,000) topped 648 entries back in April 2022 . Another former champion at this very venue is Italy's Andrea Ricci, who defeated 911 other entries in September 2021.

All levels will last 60 minutes each and it is expected that at least nine levels are required to reach the conclusion for the night. There will be two bubbles on Day 3 as not only the money prizes are up for grabs. The top 12 finishers also receive an entry to Day 1a of the 2022 WSOP Europe €10,350 Main Event in November 2022 as well.

All the action for the final two days can be found right here on PokerNews. The live stream on the King's Resort Twitch page will also be available as well on a security delay of 30 minutes.

Three All-In Call; Three Double Ups

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Aleksandar Tomovic
Aleksandar Tomovic

During the same hand on three different tables, the chips went into the middle and three players were at risk two spots away from the money bubble.

The first one was Aleksandar Tomovic, who was trailing with {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} against the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} of Jason Wheeler. However, the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{q-Spades} board delivered the jack for the Serbian and he doubled for 76,000.

Up next, Renat Bohdanov jammed the button with a big stack and Christian Berg tank-called after three minutes in the small blind.

Christian Berg: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Renat Bohdanov: {k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

"Sorry ... king of spades," Bohdanov joked but his prediction didn't become true on a {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{a-Spades} runout.

Last but not least, Hans Kersebom three-bet jammed for 131,000 on the button with the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Alexandru Alman called with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} in the cutoff. The {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs} board kept queens in the lead as the third player at risk also survived.

Hans Kersebom had previously doubled through Alexandru Alman previously and now finished the job soon after.

Alman raised to 40,000 in the small blind out of a stack of 125,000. Kersebom pushed and Alman tank-called all-in after waiting for all other tables to finish.

Alexandru Alman: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Hans Kersebom: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}

The {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{q-Spades} board brought the field down to the stone cold money bubble.

El Yaacoubi Eliminated on the Bubble by Bohdanov

Level 19 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Rachid El Yaacoubi
Rachid El Yaacoubi

Renat Bohdanov raised from under the gun and Rachid El Yaacoubi defended out of the big blind. On a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, El Yaacoubi checked his option for Bohdanov to bet 47,000 and the Frenchman check-raised to 152,000. Bohdanov called and the {j-Diamonds} followed on the turn.

El Yaacoubi pushed all-in for 372,000 and Bohdanov immediately glanced at his table neighbour. Some thirty seconds passed as the WSOP Europe bracelet winner mulled it over and then splashed in calling chips.

El Yaacoubi was disgusted and verified with the dealer and floor that he was indeed called before showing his {k-Clubs}{8-Spades} for a gutshot. Bohdanov tabled his {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and the {8-Diamonds} river further improved his hand to a straight, bursting the money bubble.

Linda van de Ree

Linda van de Ree was all-in with the {a-Spades}{q-Spades} and flipped against Sergiu Covrig with the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. The board ran out {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and the 242,000 stack of Corvrig covered.

Hubert Baran Osinski and Andreas Fischer were the next two players to bust as the field was whittled down to the last 73 contenders.

Pagliuso Busts Kennedy and Di Ceglie

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Pasquale Di Ceglie
Pasquale Di Ceglie

"I have the only ace," Darren Kennedy exclaimed after he was all-in with a short stack of 90,000. Behind him, Pasquale Di Ceglie was also at risk for 439,000 as Alessandro Pagliuso had both covered.

Darren Kennedy: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Pasquale Di Ceglie: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Alessandro Pagliuso: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop vaulted Pagliuso into the lead with a set of queens. Kennedy gained some unexpected equity on the {8-Hearts} turn but the {4-Diamonds} river ensured the double elimination.

Onur Unsal
Onur Unsal

The action started with a raise by Natale Allegra from under the gun and Nicola Angelini called in the cutoff. Onur Unsal three-bet on the button and Allegra pushed all-in. Angelini got out of the way but Unsal called with the inferior stack.

Onur Unsal: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Natale Allegra: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} board delivered the ace right away and Allegra celebrated vividly while Unsal gathered his belongings.

Hu Doubles Through Bohdanov

David Hu
David Hu

In a battle cutoff versus small blind, Renat Bohdanov and David Hu created a pot of nearly 300,000 to the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop on which Hu check-jammed for 648,000 into Bohdanov's bet worth 148,000.

David Hu: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Renat Bohdanov: {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The {9-Clubs} turn gave Bohdanov a nine-high straight but Hu spiked the {10-Spades} river for a jack-high straight.

Bohdanov Eliminated by Saleh

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Renat Bohdanov
Renat Bohdanov

Renat Bohdanov raised from an early position to get called by Elias Abou Saleh in the big blind, the latter of which check-raised the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop. Bohdanov called and both had near identical stacks to the {3-Diamonds} turn.

Saleh now pushed all-in and Bohdanov eventually called it off.

Renat Bohdanov: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Elias Abou Saleh: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The {8-Diamonds} river was a blank and both stacks were counted. Saleh's 420,000 covered Bohdanov by a mere 15,000 and the former chip leader crashed out.

Sirigu Doubles Through Tsouloftas

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Andrea Sirigu
Andrea Sirigu

On a board of {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, Andrea Sirigu in the big blind had check-called at least one barrel by Georgios Tsouloftas on the button already. He then checked the final street and Tsouloftas pushed all-in with the covering stack.

Sirigu carefully counted his remaining chips and then announced the call, which was verified twice by the dealer and Tsouloftas due to the Italian accent. Tsouloftas then rolled over the {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a bluff gone wrong and Sirigu doubled for 500,000 with {k-Hearts}{7-Spades} for flopped two pair.

At the same time, Aleksandar Tomovic lost a duel of short stacks to Dorian Melchers and headed to the payout desk.
