Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
David Hu
David Hu

In a battle cutoff versus small blind, Renat Bohdanov and David Hu created a pot of nearly 300,000 to the {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop on which Hu check-jammed for 648,000 into Bohdanov's bet worth 148,000.

David Hu: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Renat Bohdanov: {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The {9-Clubs} turn gave Bohdanov a nine-high straight but Hu spiked the {10-Spades} river for a jack-high straight.

Fisher Eliminated by Kersebom

Level 20 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Down to what appeared to be 97,000, Boaz Fisher moved all-in from an early position and he was called by Hans Kersebom on the button.

Boaz Fisher: {a-Clubs}{2-Spades}
Hans Kersebom: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The dominated kicker failed to connect with the {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs} board and Fisher had to settle for 53rd place.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Just before the break, Vojtech Ruzicka had won a bigger pot against Georgios Tsouloftas and he then took on Andrea Sirigu when the action resumed.

On a board of {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} river, he bet 235,000 and Sirigu reluctantly folded.

Godlevskiy Doubles Through Tsouloftas

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Yuriy Godlevskiy pushed all-in for 185,000 and it folded all the way to Georgios Tsouloftas in the big blind. He glanced over and asked for an exact amount before plugging in calling chops.

Yuriy Godlevskiy: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Georgios Tsouloftas: {q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Godlevskiy had the check mark on the turn already.

Kruze and Berg The Next to Fall

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Piotr Kruze got his short stack in with the {a-}{j-} and was ahead against Ido Aboudi, who tabled the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. The superior kicker remained in the lead on the {a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop but the {8-Clubs} turn improved Aboudi, a blank came on the river.

Moments later, Christian Berg pushed a short stack of 275,000 in the cutoff and Hans Kersebom reluctantly called in the small blind.

Christian Berg: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Hans Kersebom: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop kept Berg ahead but he then simply shook the head on the {q-Diamonds} turn when Kersebom improved. Nothing changed on the {4-Clubs} river and that spelled the end for Berg, too.

Sertac Turker followed suit momentarily as the field dropped to the last 48 contenders.

Bohdanov Eliminated by Saleh

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Renat Bohdanov
Renat Bohdanov

Renat Bohdanov raised from an early position to get called by Elias Abou Saleh in the big blind, the latter of which check-raised the {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop. Bohdanov called and both had near identical stacks to the {3-Diamonds} turn.

Saleh now pushed all-in and Bohdanov eventually called it off.

Renat Bohdanov: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Elias Abou Saleh: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

The {8-Diamonds} river was a blank and both stacks were counted. Saleh's 420,000 covered Bohdanov by a mere 15,000 and the former chip leader crashed out.
