Shawile Calls Down
Level 5
: 300/600, 600 ante
Abite Tesfaye Shawile opened in early position to 1,300 and got called by a player in middle position, Alexandre Bolduc on the button, and by the big blind.
The A♦Q♥3♥ flop quickly checked through to a K♦ turn. It checked all the way to Bolduc on the button again and he opted for a bet of 2,000. Only Shawile called.
The 8♥ rolled off on the river, completing the front-door flush.
It checked to Bolduc again. He decided to bet one more time for 3,000 and was quickly called. Shawile rolled over A♠8♠ for two pair and Bolduc flashed pocket sevens before they hit the muck.
