Luthra Goes for the River Value
Level 9
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
There was a middle position open by Bryan Robitaille-Fequet to 3,500 before it folded to Danesh Luthra in the cutoff who called and then the big blind defended.
The 9♣A♥5♣ flop landed and the action checked all the way to Luthra who put out a bet of 2,500. Only Robitaille-Fequet called on their way to a flush completing K♣.
The action slowed down and checked through to a 3♥ river. Robitaille-Fequet checked again before Luthra went for another bet of 4,200.
Robitaille-Fequet went into the tank for a moment but eventually flicked in a call. Luthra tabled K♥9♥ for two pair and Robitaille-Fequet mucked.
