Callow with the Cowboys

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Luke Callow opened in early position to 1,800 and got called by Nancy Query next to act and by both blinds.

The QQ6 flop landed and Callow continued for 2,500. Only Query called.

The 7 turn hit the felt and Callow slowed down with a check. Query took that opportunity to take the betting lead for 2,500. Callow called.

The 8 rolled off on the river and the action came to a halt and checked through. Callow tabled pocket kings and Query let him know that it was good. He scooped but Query still sits with the bigger stack.

Gross Turn for the Rockets

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

The action was opened in middle position to 1,600 before Richard Catellier three-bet to 4,500 from the cutoff. David Gault cold called on the button and the original raiser completed.

The 892 flop hit the felt and it checked to Catellier who continued for 5,500. He was quickly met with a jam for 33,500 from Gault. The other player folded and Catellier snap-called.

The cards hit their backs with Gault all in and at risk.

David Gault: QJ
Richard Catellier: AA

Gault was drawing to the clubs but they wouldn't come. Instead the dealer peeled the 10 on the turn giving Gault the stone cold nuts and Catellier was drawing dead. The river was an unneeded jack and Gault scooped after getting a very lucky turn.

Catellier still sits with a very healthy stack as the next break draws near.

Raimondi's Opponents Want It All; He Comes Along for the Ride

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Peter Raimondi opened under the gun to 1,600 before the action moved to the button who flat called. The small blind folded and then the big blind put in a three-bet to the tune of 6,100. Raimondi called and then the button back jammed for 28,000. The big blind then rejammed for 75,000. Raimondi thought for a moment and then put in the chips to put himself at risk.

The cards hit their backs.

Button: 88 All in
Peter Raimondi: 1010 All in
Big Blind: AQ

Raimondi was in the lead but needed to fade a lot to hold. The full board ran out KJ997 and Raimondi scooped a massive pot with his pair of tens after his opponents put on all the pressure.

Trickey Wants Every Chip

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

There was an early position limp before middle position and the cutoff also limped. The button then raised to 5,500 before the small blind cold called and action was on Michael Trickey in the big blind.

There was hefty pile of dead money out there and some limpers left to act. Trickey thought for a moment and them moved all in for his last 29,000 with multiple players covering him.

One by one each players mucked till it got to the small blind. He sat in the tank for over a minute before finally finding a fold. Trickey didn't need to get tricky on this one. He just ripped it in and scooped it back. Easy game.

Tough Run for Tan; Baoukian Runs Pure

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Christopher Baoukian open jammed in early position for 27,000 before the action folded to Alexander Tan in the small blind who flicked in a call and the big blind folded.

Christopher Baoukian: AA All in
Alexander Tan: 88

The full board ran out 102KAJ and Baoukian earned the pure double with the rockets.

The very next there was a middle position limp followed by Tan jamming the button for his last 13,000. Baoukian was in the big blind and rejammed. The remaining players folded and it was the same players heads up, two hands in a row.

Alexander Tan: AJ All in
Christopher Baoukian: KQ

The full board ran out 42K105 and in just two hands, Tan hit the rail and Baoukian built himself a workable stack.

Raimondi at it Again

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was an under the gun open to 2,400 that got four calls from middle position, the button, Peter Raimondi in the small blind, and the big blind.

The A62 flop landed and the action checked all the way to the button who bet 6,500. Only Raimondi called.

The 6 rolled off on the turn and the action checked through to a 7 river. Raimondi checked again and the button bet 18,000. Raimondi took a moment and then moved all in having his opponent covered. The button called and got the bad news...it was a cooler.

Raimondi rolled over K8 for the nuts and the button tabled Q7 for the second nuts. Raimondi scooped and is still running pure
